4G LTE Nighthawk R7100LG

This fantastic product, though not cheap, has allowed us to port to mobile-SIM as opposed to LandLine for our broad-band. Now we have stability & speeds of up to X13 of our rural fixed connection - NetFlix, here we come..!

I payed 220 £ for a piece of crap. I bought this for the LTE-A capability which works fine, however, the internal settings options for this device are very limited. The main reason for the 1 star is the DHCP server not working properly. Basically router disconnected from internet every 60 minutes on the dot. I know my stuff and nothing worked to fix it. You can't even change the lease time. Calling tech support did not help at all. Honestly it's not worth the money. Netgear products are not what they used to be. If you want a reliable product get the the LTE router from tp-link. It's what I did and it works great.

Well performing router. I use it purely as an LTE modem to pass wan onto my mini server setup but it gets good speeds. Much higher than available in my rural area. The online portal is really good too. I won't reccomend anyone buy this unless they're planning on using the 4g capabilities cause there are cheaper non LTE variants with the same features. But for anyone looking for a 4g capable router, I'd suggest nothing less.

This is just what I needed as a backup and main router, used with backup power incase of power cut. The SIM Card is so handy works a dream once set up.

Product works well and easy to set up for those with some experience of setting up routers. Unfortunately the product sold by amazon was an import and came without an appropriate mains cable. I needed the router so had to purchase a mains lead This is the second time in as many weeks that Amazon have mislead with regard to product information and I beginning to get cautious of buying from amazon. My advice buy from reputable shop even if a few quid dearer

We have very slow broadband so I thought this was the answer to boost our connectivity! Sadly I paid a lot of money & it hasn't worked. Sometimes 'some' devices seems to connect online but other devices won't. You will have a few days that it works then suddenly nothing connects?? I restart the router & sometimes we get connected. It is so random & the help desk was not helpful. I have always bought Netgear stuff & been very happy but this was a waste of money I am afraid. Very disappointed.

Fast and reliable. Stick a SIM card in and it sets its self up automatically and away you go. Absolutely brilliant.

So habe ihn nun erhalten aus den Amazon Warehouse Deals und alles eingerichtet. Firmware ist immer noch das erste Release 1.0.0.24 LTE Empfang ist um 4-5 dbm besser als beim E3372 LTE Speedtest ist gleich schnell WLAN Empfang etwas besser als beim Asus RT-AC66U Port Forwarding mit IP Cam Port 88 und NAS Port 443 klappt bestens DynDNS funktioniert PlayStation Network funktioniert ebenfalls Keine Probleme mit iPhone, Fire TV Stick, iPad oder dergleichen Alles in allem funktioniert er tadellos. Bis auf den Preis habe ich noch nichts negatives festgestellt. Lg Thomas

Perfecto funciona increible lo recomiendo algunos problemas con la tarjeta sim pero por culpa de mi compañia que no me daba los apns correctos! Pero por el resto perfecto! Y la asistencia al cliente de netgear fue buena llamando por el mismo problema!

Utilisé en dépannage dans une pme avec baie de brassage, suite interruption abonnement internet. Le routeur est impeccable, il fonctionne avec une puce Gprs 100 giga. Débit suffisant en 4G.

Il wifi copre agevolmente i primi due piani della casa, in mansarda il segnale è un pò basso. Eccellente la gestione della scheda telefonica che ci ha tolto dai guai quando, per un problema tecnico, siamo rimasti senza fibra per un paio di giorni. In tempi di smart working obbligatorio è molto utile.

Ich hätte mich an meine eigene Regel halten sollen und kein Gerät von Netgear mehr kaufen sollen. Bei diesem Router dachte ich aufgrund der angegebenen Spezifikationen und dem sehr hohen Preis etwas Qualitatives zu kaufen - falsch gedacht - das Ding ist imho maximal 40€ wert. Bei der Ankunft konnte man bereits an der Packung sehen, dass das Gerät schon mal zurück geschickt worden ist. Hatte mit dem Ding NUR Probleme. Am Anfang war das Internet super-schnell. Wurde dann aber von Woche zu Woche langsamer. Ständige Verbindungsabbrüche oder so langsame Verbindung, dass man regelmäßig den Stecker an- und ausstecken musste. Sonos, Nest, Philips Hue funktionierten danach nur noch schlecht, teilweise gar nicht mehr - egal was man konfiguriert hat (sogar mit Support). Die Support Seiten verschiedenster Geräte (z.B. Sonos) listen dann noch unzählige Threads mit "R7000 / R7100 problem"... spätestens da wusste ich, dass das ein überteuertes Stück Müll ist. Über das Design lässt sich streiten - manchem Gamer wird das wahrscheinlich zusagen, mir eher nicht. Die Größe dieses Geräts ist aber absolut übertrieben. Ebenso das Netzteil - daran erkennt man schon, dass es sich auch um einen Energiefresser handelt. Hab jetzt einen TP-Link Archer und bin super zufrieden - hat 160€ gekostet. Ich gehe wieder zurück zur alten Regel: NIE WIEDER NETGEAR
