The product has a great range of heat settings. Also like the little metal stand you can flip back out of the way when curling and move forward to rest the tongs on surfaces without burning them.Works best on dry hair with some heat protect spray - curl 'away' from the face for a lovely face framing curl, then hold to a count of 15.Either let curls drop or hold in the curl after removing the wand, with clips for hair to cool and set 1st, with a spritz of hairspray.My curls lasted all evening and compliments from friends that it looks like ive had my hair done professionally!

Ordered this after my friend curled my hair with her own pair initially and loved the result! I've always wanted a large barrel curling tong but just haven't found a decent pair at a reasonable price. These are super affordable and allow me to create big curls for a natural/relaxed look or I can just use less hair and more hairspray to create curls that I want to keep their shape for longer! Love them, so happy.

I was looking for a large barreled curling iron to create loose waves, and this was the only reasonably priced one from a brand that I recognised.It did take me a while to get used to using this, but that probably points to my dexterity rather than a fault with the product.The one negative is in the placement of the controls - I do occasionally turn off or turn down the temperature while using the curling iron.Overall, thus product is good value and works well.

I really should have read other reviews more closely before buying this.Firstly, it is the largest barrel I've ever seen, much bigger than I was actually expecting.Secondly, I echo the other complaints about the button - I wonder if they ever tested this because it is right where your thumb or finger would naturally fall while curling your hair so even while being very careful and aware of this, I still kept accidentally turning it off.Thirdly, it doesn't get very hot, presumably in an effort to protect hair but this means to get any sort of curl (I have fine, straight hair) I had to hold it for a count of 20 so I had very sore arms after while.I was hoping to get loose beachy waves with this and it worked, however they immediately fell out within 10 minutes. I do have thin hair so that happens, however when I style it the same way with smaller tongs or a straightener, it stays for a good few hours so 10 minutes was pretty shocking. Don't waste your money on this.

Item arrived quickly with good packaging. My hair is just below my shoulders and I got the results of a curly blow dry, I had to add volume myself to the roots. I felt it worked better when I did not use conditioner. I disliked where the on off switch was located as a few times I accidentally turned it off while doing my hair. The stand also seems to get in the way and I feel overall it could be a better design, if I had an opportunity to trial it I would not have bought it on the end. However good service.

I love these curlers! They create loose big volume curls, and are so easy to use. The cermanic coating means my hair is left so shinny. I haven't found any problem with the location of the on/off button and also find the stand a nice addition.

Decent price, that's about the only positive. It doesn't grip hair properly, temp control and on off button positioned where you need to hold, and almost impossible to not slip the dial to a different temp or even turn it off during use. After difficult use the curls arent even remotely good enough

I have long hair and this gave a very lose curl which was exactly what I was looking for. Isn't time consuming either which was one of my worries. Good value for money. No complaints
