This seems to really work for my 13-year-old yorkie who is losing his vision. He is much more active and happy when he takes these. It seems to take about a week before you will notice a difference. He has been taking these for several months now and his eyes also appear much clearer -- my hope is that they are slowing the cataract that is developing. My 5 pound yorkie takes half a tablet a day. I crush it up and mix it into his JustFoodForDogs fresh dog food in the morning. He must like the taste, he has never refused it! I would definitely give these a try if you're on the fence.

Pros:- Great price- Smells like something beefy a dog would eat (not stinky)Cons:- My dog won't eat itI have not used this product for long enough to know how effective it is. After trying various eye health supplements (in addition to her daily multi-vitamin), I decided to try this because of the good value and positive reviews. My minpin/chihuahua mix is 13 years old and I see some discoloration in her eyes. There has only been only one other eye supplement that I could get her to eat and that was in powder form. I had to mix it with peanut butter so that wasn't something I wanted to do daily. This bottle indicates that a dog of 25# should take 1 pill per day. Because she is 6-7#, I have been trying to feed her just 1/2 a pill, 1/4 piece at a time but she refuses unless I trick her by squeezing it into some other soft food. I'm thinking that the only way to get her to consume this pill is by either smashing them all up with the back of a spoon, or smashing them in a food (coffee) grinder and mixing them with peanut butter or sprinkling a smidgen on her food.In conclusion, because she won't eat it, I cannot recommend this products for your dogs eye health. If I am able to get her to consume them, and I do see a change in her eye health, I'll update my review. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope it was helpful.

A good product. Wished I started both my seniors early on this product. However, they did benefit from this product when I started it at 10yrs. Of course, I had to hide mine in several creative ways for them to eat the pill. My babies were smart & fussy. *sigh* Start your furbabies young on good food, the above product (speak to vet first before embarking on ANY product) welactin & exercise & you'll see the difference, less vet bills & the ability to enjoy every stage of both your lives together till its time for the rainbow bridge. The product arrived quickly and packaged well. My small dog is a picky eater and supplements are always smelled and rejected. I always have to hand feed vitamin supplements and this tablet is no exception.

For a senior dog developing cataracts, seems to be helping. He’s been on them almost a month & he acts like he’s eyesight may be improving. He didn’t like them at first but now he’s taking the supplement without a fuss.

My mixed poodle is 10years old. He started to get a bit of cloudiness so I put him on these supplements. After spending countless hours researching… it has all the herbs I wanted in it. It takes about a month to really start working.Also perk- his eye goopy stuff is not an issue anymore. He’s about 25lbs so I break it in half for AM and PM. If I don’t crumble the vitamin he’ll find a way to not eat it so I break them up smaller and hide it in his food.

I have been giving this for about 2 months now to my 10 year old Boston terrier. I adopted him a few months ago and he has very poor vision due to cataracts. He can still see about 6 inches in front of him, and I am hoping to preserve his vision and avoid complete blindness. So far so good I think, I am noticing some slight improvements in his vision, and he eagerly eats these vitamins with no problem. He seems to enjoy the taste. Hoping it continues to improve his vision overtime or at least slow down the progression of his cataracts.
