Licefreee Gel 8 Oz. Tube with Root Applicator

I read so many reviews of all types of products and couldn't find any with enough positive feedback on all areas that matter to me. How does it smell, is it toxic, is it effective, is it natural? This product excelled on all counts! It was SUPER easy to use, smells like black licorice, which I love, and worked so well! I have ordered extra, since my children are in public school. You cannot go wrong!

The Licefreee gel is easy to use with the applicator with 10 holes to get right to the roots. It killed the 'normal' sized lice and got rid of the itching. It was excellent for use on my children (aged 1, 3 and 5 years), and on my husband because it was gentle yet effective.So far we have used 4 bottled of Liecfree gel.However I left the gel in all night last night under a shower cap and in the morning I could still feel one or two large lice bumping against the shower cap trying to escape. (The same thing happened when I treated with Paradose, a pharmacy treatment). I went into the bathroom, took the shower cap off and looked in the mirror at where I could feel something crawling in my hair. I could SEE my hair moving so I know it was actually there.I give 4 stars to this product because even though it did not kill the big lice, I believe it would wipe out the lice in my family if the big lice were not there. I am going to try hair straighteners on oil smothered hair with a lice comb, and a Robi comb as well as Listerine in an attempt to do this.

I bought this originally at the drug store and then bought a couple here because they were cheaper. I think this product is great. My daughter and I both had head lice and I was looking for a product that could get rid of our problem within a week so we could be lice free for my daughters birthday party. I was totally surprised when this product did it in a day (plus regular combing)! I had bought other products that were only "repelants" at the same time as I bought this, after reading all the bottles I chose to do this one first. It went on easy with the root applicator, it didn't burn or sting or drip. Used the comb as instructed with product still in the hair (after an hour sit) and you could see all of the dead lice and eggs. Easy to rinse out and left my hair feeling so smooth!I have continued to comb through my daughters and my hair multiple times a day and have found no living lice. It has been over a week with no signs of the bugs! It takes 8-9 days for the eggs to hatch, and if they haven't hatched already then they won't ever.I am completely amazed by this product!

I like the Licefreeee spray, since it dries out and you can think, ok, it kills them by dessicating them. Also, it said I did not have to comb if I chose not to. But this gel has the same ingredient, SALT, and does not dry. How does it work?On the other hand, if it DOES work, it is a lot easier to get to the root area, where mites lurk....I have Demodex mites, not Lice. You can't comb out the eggs of these tiny things, but you can comb them out to see the dead ones. I find dead ones no matter what I use, because there are always a few left in there, I cheat with permethrin poison every now and then too.The first time I tried the spray, millions of bugs came off my head down my neck. Now I only find about 20.

DID NOT WORK AFTER 2 TREATMENTS. DID IT ON MY DAUGHTER AND ME. I ALSO DID THE SPRAY TWICE AND THAT DOES NOT WORK EITHER.
