I was hesitant on purchasing this after reading pros and cons on effectiveness. Well it really does keep the cats from clawing at the furniture! I have an old couch and loveseat that I don't want to rid of since I have two cats with claws. I don' t like the idea of de-clawing them and got away from spraying them with watet or ''shooshing" them. I purchased new covers for the furniture so they looked new anb didn't want the clawing to rip up the covers like the couches. Wow!! What a great product. I sprayed all corners and even the old recliner. So far I don't see or hear them clawing at the furniture. You do have to keep up with the re-spraying every week though as it seems to wear off. It works for me any way.

My two one year old cats have always been fascinated by the window curtain holders, managing to pull them off the walls, tear them up and hide them around the house. This spray made no difference at all to them. My male even seemed *more* interested in the curtains!

I followed directions EXACTLY, only to have kitty lovingly take over the anointed chair as soon as it was dry. It's been his scratching post/ cat bed ever since..

The scent was pleasant, so much in fact my “scratcher” kitten liked it! Boo Boo kitty scratches at the curtains & walls. I followed application instructions, unfortunately, Boo Boo continues to scratch at both.. I do have an extra scratching post near the curtains hoping to change Boo’s scratching habits!

Didn't do much to discourage the cat from scratching / clawing but it does smell good.

This was recommended by a friend who said it worked for all but 1 of her cats, so it may not work for every cat. However, with my 2 it works great! I sprayed all their usual scratch areas, and they immediately smelled to investigate. Since I sprayed a week ago, they have not ONCE scratched in those areas. They still climb on the furniture in question, so it isn't a repellant, but the territorial scratching behavior is completely gone.Furthermore, they seem to be getting along a lot better since the spraying. One cat used to dominate the other, but now they are getting along much better, and the timid cat doesn't seem so afraid! I think the scratch zones were creating a hostile/territorial environment where they were both feeling stressed, and that has basically vanished. Also, this stuff has no smell to humans and has no chemicals. Highly recommended!

My cat was completely unfazed by this product. Used a generous amount of spray and my cat still scratched the chairs.

This came highly recommended by a friend, but it didn’t work with my little beast (cat) at all. I guess it depends on the individual animal.

Only thing is having to respray a few times a day to keep it up. So doesn’t last very long.

For my cat, it did nothing to deter him from scratching.

This works, but you must use it every day for least for week, then cut back as needed & you will have success!!

Works for about 5 min with my cat anyways
