I found this pack of five pairs of shoe trees in the slightly smaller size than is often available. I take size 4.5 or more often 5 (38) and most of my shoes are nearly flat or with very low heels. My shoes do seem to get a little misshapen (arthritis in one knee which makes me not walk as well as previously), so shoe trees are a must. These fit well - I have others which are almost too large to fit in my shoes and seem to distort some of my shoes even further. I am in the habit when taking off my shoes , popping in the shoe trees straightaway before putting away. I never leave my shoes in a heap to get damaged, and always change into house shoes when coming home. These shoe trees seem much more affordable than many on the market, seem to have just as long a life, and they are not in some horrible garish colour, Happy to recommend.

These are great and are essential for keeping good quality trainers in shape.

The media could not be loaded. They are so small, they only fit and shape a girl's/woman's heel shoes set of 5x shoes 5x pairs. I tried them in large boots and shoes, and trainers of all kinds, but they slide in and have too much gap inside the toe area, probably because they are large foot wear that I have. I tried them in my mum's heels and they fit fine and covered the shape of the toe area.In my opinion they would have been better if they were made to expand and shrink like a large foam sponge that is thick but soft, and being large can fit in small to large shoes. I took a star off because it didn't have this ability, but kept 4 stars because it is good quality and bendy middle frame, feels like it can last for decades.One thing to note, the steel bendy thing, doesn't expand or shrink. It just bends to make it easy to put in the shoe.

Brilliant for formal shoes but not long enough for loafers or trainers. (My size is 6)

Didnt fit my shoes

Shoes get damp after a day of use. To keep them in their best condition and increase longevity - you should let them dry out for 2 days before you use them again. Ideally you should reshape the shoes with a shoe tree - or scrunched up newspaper.So this was a good chance to test some inexpensive flexible plastic shoe trees.They are 28cm long and fitted with stretch into shoes up to UK size 6. They helped the shoes keep their shape and reduced creasing of the leather.Amazon delivery was quick to the UK mainland.At 5 pairs of shoe trees for just under £11 in December 2022 - for the price these are good value and I rate these at 4 star.Why not 5 star - well for that you woud need to have wooden show trees - these should be unvarnised and often made of scented wood and give additional benefit in that they directly absorb any moisture in shoes and will fight odors. But - proper cedarwood shoe trees are very expensive - so these are a great start to better shoe care.As a bonus - it is much easier to hold the shoes when polishing them which should be done after each 2-3 wears; or after they have been scuffed or got wet (and dried out on the shoe trees!)

My shoe size is 5 (actually it's 4.5 but because they're very wide, 5 is my usual fit).It's very important for me to look after my shoes - it's very difficult to find shoes that fit, so if I do find some then I keep them as long as possible, which means taking care of them.These shoe trees are to fit shoes size 2-5 UK fit, and as you can see they fit my size 5 shoes perfectly - they don't feel as if they're at their limit and I would say they could go up to size 7 if required and they will keep my footwear in the proper shape - no more collapsing inwards.At £10.99 for five pairs (as at 1 December 2022) these are great value, really useful and will last for years, I'm well pleased to have them.I now have these shoe trees in three pairs of ankle boots and two pairs of shoes, they are all boxed and in my wardrobe ready for their next outing.I will buy more in the next size as my husband is already eyeing them up for his shoes.
