Wire crimper works great. Perfect handle lengths on both. The ferrules are a bonus and are great quality!

The crimper works great, the crimp on ends are a little thin, but seem OK. The heat shrink works. The cutters are razor sharp.As the product description says, these crimpers are metric sizes and are close to buy not perfect for US standard size wire. Crimps seem secure but they look a little wonky due to the mismatched sizing.

For the money this kit did the job. Did not find the connectors to be flimsy. I used this to rewire my duel cylinder automotive tire inflator that had a PCB board fry. Replaced it with a HD relay. I did also solder these in.

The cutter is fine. The crimper/cable ends do not make a solid connection. I used this for setting up a job with 6 AWG cable. I tested the crimper at a #6 setting on a 6 ga. wire cut-off and was able to pull off the cable end with ease. The included cable ends are so thin walled that the crimper could not get a good enough bite into the cable.The light weight of the cable ends is also not acceptable for continuous current like charging an EV. I purchased these heavy duty cable endsSELTERM 25pcs 6 AWG 1/4" Stud Marine Grade Tinned Copper Battery Cable Lugs, 6 Gauge Ring Terminals,and tested the crimper on a setting of 10. These cable ends hold tight and do not pull off and the cross section of copper is large enough to carry continuous current without over heating like a thinner cable end could. I cut off the light weight cable ends I had soldered on that came with this kit and installed the above Selterm heavy ends.

Perfect for the weekend warrior. Working on projects. I crimped my boat battery cables and both my trucks battery cables. Crimpers are good and so are the cutters. The copper leads are ok, not bad. They will get you by. But i would get better leads. Good deal overall.
