Does the job.
My produce stays fresher longer thanks to these little gizmos that go in the crisper. No fuss, no muss, just place them and that’s all.

These ethylene absorbers really do work!
I put one of these produce savers in a clean airtight container with some strawberries. They lasted two whole weeks! I used another in containers for romaine lettuce. Again extended the life of the produce. I’m sold!

Enjoy fresh fruit/veggies
I was skeptically about buying these, just for the sole fact that you need to buy replacement "filters" for them. When I received the product, I was pleasantly surprised with the size of them, the large one especially. The large one I can fit a whole bag of grapes inside or a three pound container of strawberries and still have room to fit the lid on without it touching the filter. The small one is a nice size, but it can barely fit a one pound container of strawberries, which is a tad disappointing since I buy that fruit frequently. The lid of the containers isn't a snap on or clasp type, so when handling the container I have to be careful not to grab by the lid or all my fruits/veggies will fly out. The lid also has a white square at the top which is where you keep the filter. It slides from side to side and it snaps off and on in order to change the filter out. When snapped off, the inside of the part shows you a guide on which fruits and veggies you can use the air holes on and which not. The inside of the container has a basket that you can use as a strainer or choose to take out completely to make more room. I choose to leave it in, because I always place my fruit in the basket then rinse under the sink and store in the fridge (granted I only do this with fruit that can be rinsed and not spoil quicker). I'm surprised with how long the filter has lasted for me and how it has extended the life of the items I store in the containers. When I buy strawberries, they usually last me a week in a half before showing mold, but with this filtered container I had a three pound container of strawberries last me almost a month before showing signs of mold.

They Work!
These work really well so far. I'm surprised my green onions are actually lasting and aren't just getting gross within a day or so.

The Secret
May 24, 2016 UpdateAfter many broken promises, I have yet to receive an auto-generated email that tells me which of my products needs a replacement filter. I'm tired of having to send at least two emails to get an answer. Lastly, these just won't stay attached to my drawers. I believe these do extend the life of my produce, but they're missing the OXO quality experience.December 14 UpdateBack to 4 stars. The rep was able to tell me which product needed a new filter. I was told that any reminder scheduled after October should have the product included in the email. We'll see.December 6 UpdateGoing down to 3 stars instead of 4 because the email reminders OXO sends are almost pointless because they don't tell you which product needs to have the filter replaced. I own all four variations of this product. They were purchased at different times and I don't use all of them at the same time. To send me a generic "It's time to replace your filter" email is useless for me. I need to know which product. The first time it happened, the rep did some digging and was able to tell me the exact product and said that she would bring attention to the problem. On this last reminder, the rep said there was no way he could tell me which product the email referred to and asked if I couldn't remember which product I purchased first. Not cool. The little slider on the products doesn't help because it doesn't allow you the specificity to choose your exact start or replacement date. If I'm using it wrong, someone please tell me how to use it correctly. These work! If you have to choose between these and the produce keeper containers, get the containers. These crisper filters work, but to me, not as well as the containers. I suspect how well the crisper filters work might depend on your refrigerator.I've had mixed success with these. In think it may because I was storing citrus and apples in the same drawer. I get better results when I remove the fruit from its packaging. Still, these are worth the investment. My very minor complaint is that the suction cups are hit or miss. In both my crisper drawers, these hang by one cup. The second cup won't stay stuck, no many how many times I reposition the unit.

Charcoal filters in crisp produce drawers
Easy to fill. Easy to read refill dial. These do a good job of keeping expensive produce fresh and my refrigerator free of odors.

Easy to refill and position
Better than the blue apple because it’s easily refilled and sticks to the side of my vegetable bin

Good buy if you don’t want to change fridge filter
These are a great choice if you don’t want to change fridge filter or don’t have one. I have Placed one each in vegetable counters in refrigerator, so far good but keep carrots away they are drying too quickly.
