PARMIDA 24V RGB COB LED Strip Light Kit

This review is for the 2700K kit with dimmer. Was real hesitate to buy a product with no reviews, but saw good reviews on other Parmida lights so gave it a try. Plus, Parmida seems to be a light company. So many other strip lights were from sellers that sell a lot of non-light things. Much smaller than I expected which is a good thing. Not your typical LED squares every half inch or so. Not like rope light either. Looks like someone took a piece of tape and laid down a bead of caulk down the center with tiny LEDs inside. Using it for some ambient wall and ceiling light and trying to avoid the evil reflection on the TV screen. Put it around the window frame facing up and to the side. Bounces off the ceiling nicely. Curtains diffuse the light on the sides. Might cut it and just have it on top of the window frame. 2700k seems accurate. Definitely warmer than the 3500k lamp next to it. Remote control works well. Dimmer is a step dinner. Not the true infinitely variable like I hoped for, but 10% button gets pretty dim and then you can hit brightness down for one step lower. Gets nice and low for movie watching. I suspect we’ll run it on 10% or less most of the time. I don’t think I’ll ever use full brightness in a living room. Don’t notice any flicker. Not a true neon look like some of the other rope lights. Can definitely see the individual tiny dots, but man they are close together! See photo. That was at 10% brightness. Less noticeable at 100% Has memory feature. If turned off with wall switch comes back on at last brightness setting. Nice. Nicely packaged with readable instruction sheets. Product pictures and description are spot on. Just smaller than I envisioned, but that’s fine. Only 2 minor quibbles. Says UL listed, but that might just be for the tape. Don’t see a UL label on the power supply. Wish Parmida included CRI rating in description. Oh, and power supply does have a blue LED. At least. It’s not one of those crazy bright ones. Price seemed quite reasonable for a UL rated 16ft strip with RF remote. 5 year warranty with QR code to scan for easy registration. Good job Parmida! Thx….MM

Special ordered these for my new nieces room nightlight. Easy to work with, clearly marked cutting areas and perfect fit. If you are looking for a good project light that fits many applications then this is a good fit.

Just installed them, now we see how long they last. used for under cabinet lighting, they are bright and as close as l can tell (pretty good at it), they are 5000K. The only thing that could be better would be if the system was 12 volt, there 24volt. They dim and make a good night light.

This is not a good product at all, my friend and I both bought it and both have the same issue. Upon plugging in the LEDs light up for a millisecond and then they go off. Either our sockets are loose or we both have a bad controller or connection somewhere, but it could not be a coincidence. This makes me say that it's simply a bad product and a waste of money. Please stay away.

I purchased these a while ago and I am back for more. They are bright, they have sticky 3M tape, they are reasonably priced, they are cob led, and they remember what state they were in, in case the power gets cut or they get unplugged, even after many days. This last part is really helpful for both of my uses. The only disappointing part is the "pinch" connectors they have supplied. I didn't have any luck with them but, I don't have any experience with those things... they may all suck. Luckily, I am handy with a soldering iron. In short, don't expect much from those. So, if you just want to run the strip out and don't plan to do any splicing, I recommend these.

I did not expect these lights to be so bright! But wow! I originally bought them to string along under my kitchen cabinets, but they were so bright it gave me a headache. So instead, I put them on the back on my fireplace mantle and they give my living room the perfect glow! (The Pic is them on 20%) I used regular tape to stick them, in case I want to move them later. So I can't speak on the effectiveness of the adhesive.

Remote rarely works and certainly does not work at 26 feet. The light changes color or brightness every time I hit a button on my TV or cable remote which is a big issue. I have this strip as a backlight on a canvas print and I don't need the print to change color when I change the channel on the TV. Brightness and colors are great, if they work, when you want them to. Next time, I'm spending the extra to get the app.
