Insect Zapper
It works. The sound of zapping a mosquito wasn't loud, it was a zizzle, which was nice, because the other zapper I had sounded like gunshots. I have it in the living room and the only thing that bothers me is that the lights are very bright at night. Very nice for the price which included two replacement bulbs. I keep it on 24/7. I'll come back for an update when the bulbs have to be replaced. Update: Top bulb blew after 3 months. Bottom bulb blew after 4 months. 2nd update: I replaced March 2025 with 1 bulb after both original bulbs blew. This bulb blew out after 4 months on 7/18/2025. To sum it up 1 bulb will last approximately 4 months when kept on for 24/7. 3rd update. The bulb blew on October 07, 2025. Two and a half months later.

Stopped working after 6 weeks
Worked great for about 6 weeks, then it suddenly stopped working. I found the replacement bulbs and both appear to be broken, as they both rattle. So, Iβm not sure if all the bulbs are burnt out or if the unit died?? The return window is already closed after 30 days, so it looks like Iβm stuck with this broken item.

Effective in Enclosed Places, But Fails in Large Areas
It's good, buuuuut, only in enclosed spaces. If you have a very large space, the bugs won't fully reach the lamp. Also, it has to be the only light on, because if there are too many lights, they won't go to the lamp.

BUG BANISHER - Mosquitos BE GONE
I recently acquired this bug zapper from Amazon, and it's been a game-changer for our family dealing with mosquitoes in Vegas. Not only is it user-friendly and versatile for both indoor and outdoor use, but it also comes with some handy design elements. The bottom easily twists off, making it a breeze to dispose of the collected bugs in the bottom tray. Plus, they've included a great little dusting brush for any remnants on the light. It also has a on button which leaves it on day or night, or an auto button only coming on at night and turning off in the day. What makes this zapper even more effective is its compatibility with the Ocentol hook on scent attractant. When paired with Ocentol, it worked wonders, but its not included... I used it together and the result was 45 mosquito casualties within just 24 hours. It's not only efficient but also hassle-free to maintain. But here's what truly makes it a standout to me - my kids sanity - they are now over the moon because they can go outside without fear of mosquito bites. If mosquitos get in the house they bring it in and turn it on The bug zapper's crossbars are designed just right, small enough to prevent zapping bees and butterflies but also serving as an added safety measure for little kids' fingers. We all know how curious they can be needing to touch everything. In addition to its impressive bug-zapping capabilities, it comes with a really long cord, although thinner than I imagined it works, offering fantastic convenience and flexibility. It says it can effectively cover up to 2300 square feet, and I can attest it works for large spaces. No more bites, lots of dead mosquitos! If you're looking for a bug zapper that works, this one does the trick it combines efficiency with user-friendly features, and to level it up add the advantage of using it with Ocentol. Highly recommended for anyone battling the MOSQUITO INVASION in Vegas or beyond!" π¦ππ‘πͺ£π§ΉπΌπ¨βπ©βπ¦βπ¦π’ποΈπ

Effective Even On The Tiniest Bugs. Buy It.
It pisses me off when I see that a fly made it into my bedroom. It's worse when I hear a mosquito buzzing in my ear waiting for me to fall asleep. So I ended up buying this thing. I was ready for it to be more Chinese-made garbage, but it actually works really well. I set it up in my bedroom, turned off the light and plugged it in. As I was watching TV, I heard a loud crack come from it. I thought the zapper was arcing randomly because it was so cheap. No. It blasted a full-sized mosquito. Good. I went to bed again and *crack*. It nailed the tiniest mosquito I've ever seen. Impressive. I got up two more times that first night. I ended up turning it off because the light was too bright to sleep with on. The next morning I turned it on and kept my bedroom door closed. It killed one more tiny bug. This worked far better than I could have hoped for. Pros: It works and it comes with extra bulbs. Cons: None. Except for that one time a fly got stuck and it started on fire. Had to tap it loose. Smelled like burning hair. Recommended. Keep your bedroom door closed and screened window open.

It works. I recommend it.
Flies have been awful for the last couple of years and I hate them! I bought the first one of these a year ago and left it on 24/7 for months, 6-8. During that time I replaced one of the two bulbs with one of the two extra bulbs that came with it. It was very effective but it stopped working a few days after I turned it on this spring. That was frustrating so I bought a different one on Amazon that advertised a life of up to ten years. However the lights were like LED and it didnβt work nearly as well for attracting and killing flies so I bought my second one of these and itβs working fine. Obviously I donβt know if the first one died prematurely but it worth it to me to buy something that works.
