CF-AS-3 - Camera Strap, Aluminium, Leather, Nylon - Grey

You get what you pay for and for this camera accessory, there’s a reason why it commands a higher price compared to others. It may seem like many other camera straps, but it’s engineered very differently, having a clever attaching mechanism that is simple but very effective, strong and seems very dependable. Since being a photographer, I have heard of Peak Design for many years and had been using a different system but was looking to change, especially to use in my professional work, something simpler but efficient, knowing how well received this new brand is. This system has a more fluid eco system and very well engineered and thought out products, so I can expand further into their products as and when needed. My only one tiny criticism, when the strap cinches on your arm, I would like an ability to somehow lock it, so does not fully squeeze around my arm, perhaps something in the next iteration. I’ll probably engineer something myself to enable me to do that for now. This is professional product no doubt and worth every penny.

Well packaged and better than I expected. Having used Peak Design neck straps with their superior durable quick release system I was aware of the quality of the products I was confident they would be a great option. Having tried other wrist straps which were either cumbersome and inter feared with the handling the of the camera or cut off my blood supply I decided to spoil myself with the best quality out there. I was not disappointed. Worth the price.

I love the quality of this strap, but I can't work out how to fit it to the tiny connectors on my camera. I've watched a couple of videos on youtube, but they are all using anchors with thiner cord. If I can't find a way to resolve this I will have to return it to Amazon. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. As for the strap itself, it is amazing quality, it is secure and worth every penny, but please make sure that the cord will go through the connecting brackets on you camera first. If you own a Fuji camera please be aware that they will not fit your camera without the metal triangle bits that fuji provide for you to attach their neck strap that comes with the kit. In my opinion these little trangle attachments are likely to scratch your camera, and I for one don't want to use them. Revised Review: I gave this strap a 2 star rating because I couldn't find a way to attach it to my camera, a Fuji X T20. The instructions provided with the strap simply aren't as clear as they should be. Having tried most of the day to attach this strap I gave up. The strap comes with a great quality travel pouch, when I looked inside the pouch I found the spare anchor and two little very neet split rings. I attached one of the split rings to the connector on my camera and then it was really simple to attach the anchor to that, but the instructions provided no information about the split rings or how and when to use them. I think Peak Design need to explain how and when these split rings are used in their instructions. It must be so frustrating for Fuji Camera owners trying to fit the thick cord anchors that Peak Design provide to their cameras. If the instructions were clearer, I'm sure it would be of benefit to both Peak Design in respect to more sales, and Fuji Camera owners, who may want to use this amazing strap. Another tip I have, is there is a large square magnet in the leather effect part of the strap. Peak Design has designed the strap to be both worn and stored like a bracelet. There are two magnets, one in the leather effect portion of the strap and another in the plastic clip that attaches to the anchor. The idea is that you put the strap on your wrist so it fits like a bracelet, then wrap the rest of the strap around your wrist taking note of where the plastic clip ends on the leather effect portion of the strap. You then need to move the magnet along inside the strap so that it sits under the plastic clip, the two magnets then connect allowing you to wear the strap as a bracelet when not connected to your camera. Its really hard to move the magnet, but if you pinch both sides of the leather portion where the magnet is located and then push the magnet along, moving the magnet to the desired location becomes so very easy. This also allows the strap to be stored neatly away when not in use two. This is such a great product and I'm really please I worked out how to attach it to my Fuji Camera.

Peak Design Cuff is a superb piece of equipment which virtually ticks all the boxes. It's easy to use, hugely portable and ready to hand, designed and made of excellent materials, and inconspicous when both in use and when stored away. That being said, however, there is one aspect which is somewhat irritating when the Cuff is in use; and that is, the inadequate "magnet" which helps to secure the Cuff around the user's wrist when not in use. The Cuff is easily dislodged at the slightest friction with a shirt sleeve, or indeed, anything that it comes in contact with. The Cuff is designed well enough such that when it dangles from the wrist after being dislodged is hangs there until it is once again attached to the magnet. This can be very annoying. But, again, I hasten to add there is no danger of the Cuff falling off the wrist. All in all, an excellent piece of equipment from Peak Design.

Well made, as with other Peak Design products and nicely packed and presented. I have found it useful, more useful than a full over-the-shoulder strap in fact, because it is so small and tidy. Quality of the materials is top notch and the connection to the cameras inspires confidence. After a couple of weeks use the leather in the strap is becoming nicely supple.

Great strap. Well designed. Does the job.

Una pasada!!!!. Si eres de los que la correa de la cámara la llevas siempre en la mano enrollada, este es el mejor producto que puedes encontrar para usarla así. Puntos a favor: 1 no necesitas llevar la correa larga. 2 ahorras espacio. 3 SE PUEDE USAR COMO PULSERA, es decir con el tipo de enganche rápido que tiene se puede desenganchar de forma rápida, guardar la cámara en la mochila y con un pequeño iman que lleva debajo de la piel, ponerla como pulsera. 4 seguridad, si la llevas en la muñeca y se te escapa la cámara, el sistema hace con un cierre rápido sobre la muñeca, para que la cámara no caiga al suelo. 5 enganches rápidos, compatibles con otros sistemas de la marca. 6 es fina no siendo molesta 7 acabados muy buenos, trae una funda de tela para guardarla, más dos soportes para la cámara. Jag har Peak Design Leash sedan tidigare som jag är väldigt nöjd med och ville även ha en handledsrem. Kvaliteten är riktigt bra och det är supersmidigt att använda anchor links för att koppla eller koppla loss kameran, även när man bara använder en hand. Tyvärr är själva "Cuff" alldeles för liten och den är trång att få över handen. Jag har inte superstora händer och på bilden har jag även lagt en penna på bordet för storleksreferens. Tanken med den inbyggda magneten för att förvara den som ett armband då man inte har en kamera kopplad är god, men även här är den något liten och magneten för klen så den förblir inte stängd.
