Bit flimsy but still great fun
I read the reviews about this fort before purchase but went ahead as it was in budget. As said before the poles do come apart easily but this didn't stop the enjoyment of our four year old grandson and his parents trying to work out how to construct a structure. The fort fell down but the fun continued as different structures were created - a windmill, umbrella, lean to, helicopter! Ideally the upright poles need to be sunk in a base/the ground to give stability. There are plenty of poles and fixings and all you need to add is a sheet to give hours of fun. If you have a bigger budget, go for another make otherwise, EZ Fort is good value.

Just what we wanted
Just what we were looking for, lots of fun had inside and out with this fort building kit. My only issue is that the instruction booklet inside shows models to make that need two sets of this, of course they are the ones my son wants to make and it's a bit pricey for more than one set!! The poles do fall off sometimes but not enough to make us want to stop playing :DOverall, great product, received quickly 4*

My 5 and 3 year old boys love this.
My boys are far more imaginative in their creations than I am. Bought for the older son and he can now construct it independently. We've had rockets, planes, puppet theatres, dens, goal posts ..... all helped along with the throwing over of a few old tablecloths!A couple of the yellow balls have come apart, but can be screwed back together easily. I think they weren't that tight to start with.I wouldn't buy this for a child under 5 specifically, as they'd need 100% adult input and get frustrated by not being able to put the pieces together. The sticks would be dangerous, like any pole, if they suddenly "become" swords etc, so for this reason, it is a toy that I would suggest needs an adult close by! Having said that, our set gets daily use and it's only limitation is that the boys imaginations sometimes run further than the number of poles we have available!

Pretty good but not perfect
I've actually bought two of these now as you can't do a lot with just one set. The downside is they keep coming apart and that's why I only gave it 4 stars, but it doesn't seem to spoil the kids' fun too much and they just keep sticking it back together again. I think the design probably could be improved though and perhaps a bigger kit to save having to buy two.

So much fun
After reading the reviews i decided to make sure that when the poles were connected everyone knew to only apply pressure to the end of the pole thats closest to the connector its been connected to. This worked, we had no snapped poles. I think its when people apply pressure to the middle of the pole or the opposite end that they break as they are not the strongest of poles. They did fall out quite easily so im going to buy a load of blu tack to stick in the connector holes to help the poles sit more snuggly. My kids are having loads of fun with this set, im going to buy another one so they can build bigger structures. We also brought a camflouge netting to put over it and found that it holds the weight of the net with no problem.

Great value
This is a great toy to keep little ones entertained on a rainy day (or a sunny day outdoors!). My 4 and 7 year old can play with it together making dens which they love! It does fall apart quite easily if knocked but if it didn't it would be too hard for a pre-schooler to fit together..you can't have everything..especially for the price. Overall a good product.

Fun but not that sturdy
Plenty of fun. Not really enough pieces for imaginative forts, only simple designs will do. Also is not so sturdy and can easily be brought down when there's a couple of rowdy children! The connecting spheres have a tendency to come apart. They are help together by a screw and these are constantly falling out. Should have tightened them all when first got them! Lost some screws now so not enough connectors. I would say it is not suitable for under 4s to play in once built (or even to build) as they can so easily pull it all apart and in my experience they always do that immediately!!

EZ fort 54 piece set
Purchased this one to add on one I already have to make a bigger set. Grandchildren enjoy making den and other shapes with them. Pleased with the product on the whole except the connections fall apart easily if not pushed in tight.
