A lovely 808 alternative that is affordable. A lovely midi drum machine that does clock sync and triggers with analogue cv one analogue synth or module,sh 101, Juno 106, system 100 or the boutique analogue module range from Roland. I have clock synced a Juno u06 boutique module and triggered an sh01 or a tb03 without much trouble and had good results making basic acid/techno. It is a lovely new age 808 that does not break the bank, it pretends it’s an 808 lovely but sadly only triggers one analogue.a dj that loves 80s dance music loves his 08

If you like 808 beats and want as close to the orignal as possible along with genuine Roland product hardware in a compact package then this nails it. Dont worry about the fact it only has mini jacks as you can export the audio via data/usb to the highest quality direct into your DAW. You can also split every drum track to individual channels. Have been using with Logic. You can even use it standalone and compose beats on the sofa...

Excellent. Easy to use. Quick to program. Not too much to get your head around before being able to use it effectively. Does what you want it to do. Has a great sound, warm and deep. Plays and responds very nicely. If you love the sound of the 808 you cant go wrong with this. Well worth buying.

I got this for my brother and he absolutely loves it. He is over the moon and he makes great music

Good machine just not for me

...the unit had already been opened, as had the 'instructions', and batteries were already inside ie; a return from another customer. The tr-08 itself is fine, no marks, all pots fine, output sound fine so ill test it a little more to see if it stays.

Very good fun and easy to set-up but not easy to integrate into your DAW not having separate outputs for each drum component. I have also resorted to using the "old-fashioned" MIDI inputs as the USB port can be noisy with a definite hummm when using the USB with the computer, so I run MIDI 1 cables to my interface, and use the USB port for external power.

昔、808と同じ様な値段のYAMAHAのドラムマシンを買って、もしあの時808や909にしていればと後悔してるかも。 音はPCMなどよりずっとアナログだし、 見た目の色味も大好きだし、 使い方もシンプルで自分には丁度良い。 大きくなくてこっちのが好きだし、 好き。 一曲分の構成の入力の仕方とかはやっていません。
