I would suppose so since when you push it the spray will remain on, push it again it will shut off. So by intermittingly pushing the button you can control how much you spray and when.

Q: First time charging only took 2 hours. Was that enough? The light turned from red to blue.

Yes, that's about how long it took mine to charge completely
