SANTECO Double Walled Vacuum Insulated Coffee Mug with Unsealed Lid,590ml,Orange

I invested in something I hoped to be decent and this design totally has not worked for me!I find the 'unsealed lid' description confusing. No lid on a travel cup is fully sealed as such is it? Assumed this meant, well, unsealed, not plastic wrapped?! Why would you sell something with a 'lid' (lid definition - cover for the top of a container) that can't be guaranteed to shut down and keep liquid in properly. I don't get the concept of this product. The attraction is in the look, the cup would look good 'on the go' or 'on the move' but it is ridiculously difficult to use in this way.I only use this when any other drinks bottle or cup is not available- in an emergency like a hot day like today and I left my regular water bottle somewhere.It didn't fit any cup holders in my car (ok I could have checked sizes and didn't).But then having someone pass it to me, I attempted to drink from it whilst driving/at lights, which was a mistake. So even if it did fit a cupholder, this is still a nightmare. Coffee or whatever liquid does not run straight from the cup to your mouth as the rim is too high at the top. Liquid has to slide back into a catchment area before running back into the cup so increases likelihood of spillage.When lid is closed it gives the illusion of looking like a thermos, like liquid is safe, but DO NOT risk leaving somewhere it could fall onto its side or treat it in anyway like that sort of container as you will make a mess. There is nothing secure about this design if jigged about or slightly not upright. A plastic cup with lid from a pound shop has proved much better than this for keeping liquid safe and inside. I really don;t see why anyone would knowingly choose this over a regular thermos/flask. It is heavy and has all that insulation but is no use unless keeping it completely vertical the whole time. Less work and less mess to carry a baby or a kitten around all day. Even if I wanted to drink from a cup at a desk or table all day so the table supports it instead, I would rather use a comfortable mug with a handle. Most thick ceramic mugs keep hot drinks hot for long enough anyway. I don;t understand the concept, the design, the point of this product. And once you have finished your coffee from work for example, if you want to take it home again with you it is inconvenient as you would have to wahs and dry it thoroughly beforehand as again there is nowhere safe to leave it in a car unless you wrap it in a plastic bag which can be messy in itself. What a debacle.

This beaker looks great and is actually really nice quality apart from the lid, you can‘t use it to transport drinks unless you‘re able to hold it 100% upright all of the time as it leaks instantly due to how the lid is designed. Also when drinking you have to be careful not to spill anything due to how the lid is designed so not suitable for trips in the car either. Sadly this was a waste of money for me, really disappointed. :-(

Exactly as advertised. It clearly states in the lid that it isn't leakproof and I had an email prior to delivery to check I knew this which I did. It is well balanced, easy to wash, and the perfect size for me. It also keeps drinks hot whilst the outside is cool. I use this in a classroom setting so safety is high. It is everything it says it is. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my old cup had a wide top and I keep banging my nose when I swig too quickly. My nose a standard size lol. Customer service is great though

I brought this because a certain coffee chain does not well Vento mugs, It is overall an excellent little:) mug but I feel that the lid is a little flimsy and hard to clean otherwise I would give it a 5 star but overall I am satisfied and now people can stop harping on to me about saving the planet (What's left of it and I do question whether it's really worth saving anyway:)

Iv only used it once need to see how it fits in the car but as for it keeping my coffee hot it kept it so for 3 and a half hours and could have kept it so for longer but by then I had drunk it all.Iv never had one of these cups before so can't compare but I am happy with this purchase thank you

It's an expensive and inconvenient cup as the actual lid does stay sealed. Have even checked instruction. Yes I actually read instruction on a cup! Incase I was doing something silly but no just doesn't stay closed

I was so unhappy with this product!! I got it as a gift for my boyfriend and its just not a good design. It has a whole in the top piece so it literally has to be kept upright at all times otherwise it will leak! That being said, it also leaks anyways and cant understand why. He filled it up with water, closed it properly and tight and it still leaked in his bag! Totally not worth it. Waste of money. Faulty product!

I was sceptical after purchasing other travel cups before and being disappointed. The Santeco one is brilliant, feels comfortable to hold, keeps drinks piping hot for hours. Love the rubber bottom. So pleased I'm just about to buy another one for my Husband.

+ positivDer Becher sieht top/wertig aus und liegt gut in der Hand.- negativDie Beschreibung suggeriert dass man einen dichten Becher kauft.("Der verschließbare Deckel schützt sicher vor dem Auslaufen")Dies ist jedoch nicht der Fall.Außerdem stößt man mit der Nase gegen den zurück geklappten Verschluss beim trinken.Insgesamt für mich zu teuer da nur das Design überzeugt aber leider nicht die Funktion.

Der Thermobecher hält tatsächlich sehr lange heiß, ist jedoch undicht und es läuft das heiße Getränke über die Hand, wenn es nicht absolut gerade gehalten wird. Ist im Auto quasi unmöglich.

schönes Design. Wirkt qualitativ hochwertig. Leider passt sie nicht in den Getränkehalter im Auto. Musste ich leider zurückzusenden. Retoure war umkompliziert. Danke nochmal.

Mein Kaffee to go schmeckt ziemlich gut und lässt sich sehr gut zur Arbeit transportieren. Der Becher sieht dazu auch noch sehr schön aus. Die Getränke bleiben lange warm sowie auch kalt.Die Lieferung war klasse. Ich würde ihn noch mal kaufen!

Gutes Produkt aber nicht Auslaufsicher . Der Kaffee bleibt aber über Stunden warm darin .Passt aber nicht ganz in eine Standard Autohalterung . Probiert bei VW und Daimler .

Ich habe den Becher für meine Tochter gekauft,damit sie in der Schule etwas warmes trinken kann.....leider läuft das Getränk aus, da der Deckel nicht auslaufsicher ist.....das Geld hätte ich mir somit sparen können.....

Der Becher wird aussen nicht warm, obwohl das Getränk lange heiss blebit. Gut zu reinigen, allerdings schade, dass der Becher nicht ganz dicht ist.

Bester Becher im Netz , Edelstahl und Hartplastikdeckel. Top .....jedoch ......Warum gibt es kein Becher komplett ohne Plastikteile mit Kautschukdichtungen? Schade , aber dieser hier ist nah dran ......

Extrêmement déçu. Très mauvaise expérience. Aucune étanchéité. Des qu’on le penche pourtant bien fermé, cela coule :-(

Schöner Becher - leider nicht auf slaufsicher. Das hat sich allerdings erst aus der Mail ergeben, die ich nach der Bestellung vom Händler bekam. Der Deckel ist ungünstig, der zurückgeklappte Verschluss drückt gegen die Nase und man muss den Kopf weit nach hinten lehnen, um zu trinken. Aber der Inhalt bleibt lange warm und der Becher selbst ist auch schön griffig.

das design ist schön und der becher hat eine angenehme from. falls man aber vor hat den becher in einer tasche zu transportieren hat man pech gehabt. der deckel ist absolut nicht dicht - hat ein luftloch das man nicht zu machen kann und auch bei der drinköffnung ist keine dichtung drinnen. wenn man ihn immer in der hand hält ist er ok. aber für mich (ich fahr mit dem rad zur arbeit) absolut ungeeignet und erfüllt seinen zweck nicht.

Der Thermobecher kam schnell an, ist stabil, hält lange warm und das Design ist sehr schön :) Aber das wichtigste natürlich, er ist 100% Auslaufsicher! Ich bin mehr als zufrieden

Ob dieser Becher lange heiß und dicht hält, habe ich gar nicht erst geprüft.Die Befestigung des Klappdeckels sah schon gleich so aus: 3 x auf- und zu und ab!

Taugt nichts. Undicht.
