Lalvin EC-1118 Wine Yeast (10 Pack) - Sold by CAPYBARA Distributors Inc.

This is the best yeast I have ever used. It multiplies as if it is trying to take over the universe. I didn't pay attention to the instructions and accidentally stored it in improper conditions, and activated it in improper conditions, and it still started right up faster than expected. This yeast multiplied and produces alcohol faster than any yeast I have ever used.

I was using a ginger bug to get my ginger beer to fizz, I had the flavor I wanted, just needed a sparkling element. I used half a tsp per gallon and that was too much. Within a day my jug was bubbling. Within three days I bottled it. Great flavor, too much fizz and an alcoholic kick I wasn’t expecting. I put the bottled ale in the gallon jug half and half with some flat stuff. Much better and doesn’t jump out of the bottle before you can drink it.

Great yeast for homebrewing. Great price and ferments really well, with alot of bubble activity. Very effective.

this is a great champagne yeast, it has very little yeasty taste when finished, and nice small bubbles/fizz. ive used it for years for everything from hard cider to 2nd ferment kombucha. brew time is fast and consistent at room temperature. with higher sugar it gets around 11-12%abv

Using it for apple wine. Very good fermentation.

These yeast work great and will make your wine or meade clear if you let sit for 2 weeks

I'm used to buying individual packs of yeast at the local brew store. I still love buying from them, but for yeast, it's advantageous to buy in bulk. Good, familiar product. And good seller.

We use this yeast almost exclusively for the various fruit based wines we brew. As long as temperature range is respected when using it does an excellent job for fermentation.

Put in fruit juice, wait a few days for the magic, then enjoy. Easy to use for a first time brewer, couldn't be happier with this yeast. Works great with apple juice, grape juice, apple & blackcurrent juice, have tried it both with and without adding extra sugar and has worked every time.

I used this to make some apple cider. Works fast. Inoculates very well and overwhelms any other undesirable yeasts. Produces a nice, sharp, fully fermented cider, which then mellows over time.

Worked well, easy little packets which I can keep and use in the future. Seem to be doing the trick so far. Early days

Excellent product but you need to know which yeast to use with which blend of wine
