Great piece of kit!
Have the all in one cameras and decided to buy the flex for my drivewayI love these cameras and half price membership was on offer.Would reccomend to everyone!I bought the wall mount separately as didn't like the magnet one as would be easy to remove.Tried 2 locations on cameras ground floor & first floor and cameras worked better on ground floor. I have it about 10ft high on the driveway and can actually see much better! First floor wasnt as good as if someone was on my property you could only see heads not faces!Very very happy with camera! Have attached photo. Great HD quality!

Bad quality. No features for the free subscription
I have the first canary and I thought I would give this a shot. And what follows is true. The subscription part is insane. If you don't pay you can only see 30 seconds of video at a time and it doesn't actually state on the recorded 30 second clip what the time the video was taken. So you will never know if the video correlates to a certain event. The quality of the video is very pixelated. Tried this indoors right next to the router and it was the same. Quality of video is horrendous. You can not disable the light at the front so everyone who walks past can see you have a camera and can cause to someone seeing it and throwing a stone or whatever young kids may try.In essence I would recommend another product except this one. Canary seem to be trying to milk what was a loyal customer following but the quality and pricey subscription of this camera makes me say stay away. By all means. Buy the original canary. At least that has a good camera and the free subscription allows a lot more "features". Why you would sell a product for this price and then add in a subscription that gives you the expected features (which you have to renew every year) is unknown to me.

Great design and easy to set up
Great design and easy to set up. Really flexible / easy to move around and small enough to be discreet. Using it indoors so can't comment on outdoor functionality but would recommend for indoor use!

Works, but its expensive to buy and run (with more then 24 hours footage), goes offline occasionally and the picture is not very good.I will likely replace all my Canaries with the cheaper Netgear arlo when my 12 months subscription ends.

worked well untill it rained. its not really weatherproof
Its easy to set up compared to the non-branded/basic products on amazon . i bought this because of the set up issues i was having on other cameras and have a canary device in my house. its set up is really slick. However, the hardware isnt and stopped working after the first heavy downpour. i live in the uk so rain is never far away and cant help think this wasn't really designed for the weather exposure. It stopped charging and i think its just the cable attachment at the back of the camera looks like water would easily get into it and it did.

Not as good as Arlo
Mediocre picture. Average battery life.Great idea and very attractive. Possibly they should have spent more making the gizzards work properly and less making the oooh so sexy feeling rubbery case!

Good quality, beautifully designed, reliable outdoor camera
PositivesReally well made, beautifully packaged and a solid device. Doesn't stand out obviously like a camera - looks nice rather than ugly.Has a clear picture, wide angle lens and a reasonable plan (£79 for multiple cameras per year. Website seems to be able to show only 4 cameras, phone app shows all 5 of my Flex and Pro cameras). The price (with the normally offered £60 discount) is excellent and it’s often on Amazon deal of the day for even less. Very competitive.Seems very reliable in picking up movement. Very rarely picks up non-movement (heavy rain it will record at times and high contrast movement of plants in wind but it’s pretty accurate).I run my two Flex cameras off power but I have left it on for a couple of days and it only went down a few percent. My new one has been on for more than a day now and it’s still on 100%. High movement areas do run down the camera much quicker obviously.Locking base (extra purchase) is really flexible for positioning. If it’s being put within easy reach or by someone standing on a bin etc. you’ll need this more secure attachment.Good control and capture options from the app, including setting masked regions and setting up the depth of the sensor (near only, medium or far)Negatives:Can’t download videos from the website, only from the phone. Odd. Website version is great, but phone doesn’t seem to show all the videos recorded at timesUSB cable needs to be longerIt needs some form of cable lock loop for a more secure attachment. My street facing one I glued on a window lock cable as a visual deterrent because it's near the front door.I do recommend, but this market now has a lot more options than 4 years ago when I bought my first Canary camera. Still a good option though and mine all work well together.

Nach 1,5 Jahren defekt
Die Kamera hat eigentlich zufriedenstellend funktioniert. Nach ca. 18 Monaten plötzlich defekt. Sehr Schade. Dafür viel zu teuer.
