Nice cotton, nice colour, nice price
I've been knitting with a lot of cotton lately and this one is by far the softest and easiest to use. Cotton can be a bit unforgiving and get tighter as you work it but this is really nice to use. It washes well (I threw a dishcloth in the washing machine) but I wouldn't tumble dry it, not that they recommend such a thing but I wanted to try. Made a large amount of washcloths and scrubbies and I would say, modestly, that they look pretty good. Oh yes and for all you lovely crafters out there when you're finished the cotton you get a nice cardboard cone which will be made into a Christmas tree decoration later 🤣

SUGAR N CREAM YARN
GREAT QUALITY COTTON YARN FOR KNITTING AND CROCHET PROJECTS. I USED LARGE AND SMALL KNITTING NEEDLES AND THE SAME FOR CROCHET HOOKS. WORKS WELL ON CIRCULAR KNITTING NEEDLES TOO. A PLEASURE TO USE. NO GNARLY KNOTS TO INTERRUPT FLOW. FABULOUS! FABULOUS!

Lovely to knit with
This is lovely! Just got started on some lacey hand cloths, definitely getting it again. Look how prettily the colour works out? The pattern, if you are interested is a four row repeat. Cast on multiples of 18 - so we're talking 36, or 54, or 72 (etc) Knit 4 rows garter stitch. Row 5, knit 2 together ×3. Then knit followed by yarn over 6 times. Then knit two together x3. Repeat til end of row. Then knit two rows. Purl one row. Repeat the lace row. Keep going like this til your work is long enough. Knit 5 rows (not 4) of garter so the two ends are similar (for some reason the end is too short if you do only 4 rows.) It will go into waves too once you cast off. I hope you like the pattern, and really like the yarn. Makes nice face cloths, scarfs, baby blankets. In various colours you could do a headscarf or wee shawl for a baby.

Thick and nice
I like this big cone of pure cotton yarn. It's the best because plastic yarns are too flimsy, and wool is a bit too scratchy for my liking. I was able to make a tote bag with this cone, plus I had enough left over for a smaller bag too.

Dye transfers
Using this black cone to make a cardigan it's good for what it is, but the hook recommendation size feels incorrect for my tension I had to size down. But the worst thing is how when you crochet they say comes off and transfers on you hand??? I don't understand why they would make it like this, this could just be the come that I have bought but I'm making a comment just incase others buy a dark colour.

Nice Thick Cotton for Dishcloths
Good quality, thick cotton yarn which is ideal for making hand knitted dishcloths/cleaning cloths (I used the garter stitch lace edged dishcloth pattern which is shared by more than one person on YouTube). I can't quite remember how many cloths I got from this 400gram cone (as family members keep pinching them from me!) but it was more than half a dozen and the soft ecru shade I received is a very nice, warm cream colour - the cloths also wash particularly well at 60 degrees centigrade. 5 Stars.

I crocheted four dish cloths, a dish towel, and hand towel with one cone. This is beautiful durable yarn. It does not split, the color is absolutely gorgeous, and matches my kitchen rugs. I will definitely purchase another cone in the future. The yarn isn't too thick or too thin, it's just right. No bleeding and it's extremely soft after laundering.
