Can supply rated current without getting hot!
Great high voltage power supply. I used it with 22.5 volt zener diodes in series for my B battery supply for my old battery tube radio. I built this and it works perfect on my old tube radio that required 22.5, 45 and 90 volts. Great well built high voltage power supply!

FINALLY! A Nixie Tube Boost Power Supply that Works!
After purchasing and returning two other nixie tube power boost supplies that would not adjust the filament voltage (despite their specifications and the provision of adjustable resistors for that purpose), I purchased this one.Factory setting output on the B+ side was slightly over 250 v. which easily adjusted down to the required 150 v. The filament output tested at 6.75 v. (vice 6.3 v. in the specs), but since I actually wanted 7.5 v., this was no problem. In fact, it turned out to be adequate to run the 6E5 tube in my device without any need to bypass the positive filament voltage circuit resistor which is used to reduce the device's 7.5 v. dc to the tube's specified 6.3 v.Both voltages, B+ and filament, appear to be stable and consistent with a 12 v. dc input power supply.I'll give this a few more hours of use, but if it remains stable and steady, I'll be getting another for another restoration project.Happy days!

No documentation
Did not come with any kind of data sheet or instructions. Also can’t find anything anywhere that shows how to set it up or use it. There are several videos on the internet that say how great it is, but don’t reveal any help with HOW it works. I tried searching for all the numbers on the label and nothing seems to be related to those numbers. Also, Amazon doesn’t offer the opportunity to ask questions on the listing. It would be nice to ask the customers how it is used. Not happy with the service.Useless to me.

You Still Need Resistors!
It will supply between around 145 and 250V using the potentiometer for adjustment. Please however note that you certainly need resistors still to limit current to nixies and neon tubes. Unfortunately ruined a nixie on first run without any resistors- internal arcing. I managed to get an NE-2 to pull 30W before melting the glass. Be careful.

Working as desired
Input:13.8V, Output: 250V

Works great.
Works well and the 12V DC jack makes it super easy to power seeing as there's always at least something that uses a 12V wall wart. However, I've noticed that even after turning the 280V output potentiometer up, it outputs around 20-30V less, but I guess that's expected when you're driving two magic eye tubes. Otherwise, no complaints.

It worked great for my magic eye kit.
The media could not be loaded. Purchased to as a dual supply 6.3v and 250v for a magic eye setup.Powered with 9v and tested. Found 6.4v at the 6.3v out, and 251.4v DC at the High V out with no adjustments. Adjusted the high side to 250 with ease.Powered on for 20 min with no significant heating. Held voltage with no noticeable drift.

Works great.
I bought this supply for the dual-indicator magic-eye tube assembly. It works so well, I bought 7 more to use on other projects. I highly recommend this power supply.
