This is one tough truck. Present for a 5 year old for Christmas. The extra spare battery is a plus. Great speed and can traverse most terrains. For the money, this is a great RC Truck!

I skeptical about the purchase because previous bad reviews. But I purchased it for my grandson who is almost 4 and he loves it! Very durable he drove it into and off a block wall and it kept going and still going! Easy to operate for him, durable, Battery last long time(plus came with extra battery), working in water, dirt, and rock great! Overall great buy! Pretty fast too!

Does a great job on our grassy lawn of clearing out the geese. They definitely don’t like it and it does them no harm. And it’s fun and easy to use!

My 7 y/o son has really enjoyed the RC car. I was not convinced it would be able to drive in our pool, but it floats just fine and the tires move enough water to propel it slowly.I would have given 5 stars, but the soldered connections on both batteries broke within the first week. Looking closer at the battery these connections need to be better hidden and the wires supported so that handling of the battery does not stress the solder joints. I re-soldered them and added electrical tape to hold the wires and avoid that future handling will cause the wires to break from the solder joint again.

November 2022: Bought this for my two year old who’s obsessed with monster trucks. He’s had three of the monster jam branded ones from Walmart. Those Walmart ones break at the axles very easily and the aaa batteries run dead every ten minutes. Those “New Bright” rc trucks break within a week..This one however; he’s beaten it, dropped it, drowned it, you name it.. it’s still driving around like it’s brand new. The battery in the truck is a bit hard to swap but it’s mainly because it’s fairly large capacity battery fit into a watertight compartment on the truck. I’ll take that trade off. The battery does last about 20 minutes of non stop action before dying. With the two batteries he’s been able to play with almost no charging breaks.I’ll be buying a few more of these trucks just in case this item becomes unavailable here and he is actually able to break this one.July 2023: truck still going strong with absolutely zero issues. My now 3 year old and 1 year old boys like to drive it straight off the couch, straight off the kitchen counters, etc just to watch it crash onto the ground to see if it’ll flip and land on its wheels. If they’re intermittently throttling it and randomly driving it around the battery actually lasts the whole day. I find that the only times I have to change a fully dead battery is when they go to bed and leave it on. Since it comes with a second battery though I just swap the dead for fresh in the morning and they’re good to go. Updating this review because I’m buying a second one right now.If I have to pick something as negative I’d say 1: the remote is where you’ll find that they cut the cost. I’ve never had any issues with it and that’s even with my youngest drowning it in the dog water bowl a few months ago. It was fine, I just pulled the batteries and let it dry out. 2: the remote is a digital on/off for both throttle and turning. It’s all or nothing. I have quite a few more hobbyist rc cars and it would be nice if this one had more control like those. This isn’t that big of a deal however since my boys don’t notice. They’d mash the throttle anyways!!

After being underwhelmed with some other R/C cars, I found this 10 inch long beauty. It has been great right out of the box. Easy to prepare and easy to learn to drive. It will spin in circles and even go on water with its huge tires. Should be able to negotiate about any surface. My grandsons love it and I hope it holds up for a long time. Appreciate the extra rechargeable battery pack too. Charges from the USB cord so need a computer or other device to plug in. Good packaging, good instructions, and good product. I'm impressed!

I bought two already for my granddaughters, this one is for my young nephew. The young granddaughters loved them. The can go through puddles, in water, do tricks. The only down side is the charge should last longer, but doing donuts for a long period of time wears them out. 4 year olds love doing donuts, haha
