Not the Witch You Wed (Supernatural Singles, 1)

Light and easy palette cleanser
Paranormal and simpler plot aside, the style reminds me some of Jennifer Crusie. Lots of sparkling, snarky banter and a basically fluffy romance wrapped in some pretty spicy love scenes. Linc is a great hero who displays all we love about alphas without the toxicity. Violet really blooms with beautiful magic. Secondary characters are made good use of. First in the series, next one is already on my TBR.

Second chance
Lincoln is a wolf shifter that once had a thing for Violet, a triplet from a witch family that has no magic herself. Violet sees Lincoln as the one that broke her heart. Reunited as adults in a fake dating situation that benefits them both brings all kinds of strange happenings. Such a fun read! Lots of great side characters introduced that should make for fantastic reading in follow up books. Lincoln and Violet are sweet together with lots of laughs and chemistry causing unending sparks.

Enemies to Lovers, Fake Dating, Second Chance Romance
4.5 StarsViolet had her heart broken by Lincoln as a teenage girl and now years later, due to some archaic Supernatural Laws, they might just be forced together to save each other from futures neither of them want. Fake dating each other might buy them both some time, but it also might just bring back those old feelings. And it might also be making Violet's long lost magic to the surface. Will old secrets and dangerous threats keep them apart? Or can they make it out the other side? Not the Witch You Wed was a really fun witchy rom-com, perfect for the Halloween season. I loved the relationship between Violet and Lincoln and the meddling grandmother was just perfect. It was clear from the start that Lincoln had deep feelings for Violet and watching him fight those was priceless. And I loved Violet's story with her magic, her sisters, and her past with Lincoln. It did take me a bit to really understand the world being built, but once I caught on I loved all ths intricacies of it. I loved all the different Supernatural beings we were introduced to. All the side characters were such a perfect addition and have me so excited to continue the series next year.I would recommend this one to anyone who enjoys the following:βοΈ Enemies to LoversβοΈ Fake DatingβοΈ Second ChanceβοΈ Werewolves and WitchesβοΈ Close Friends and FamilyβοΈ Third Person Dual POV

Wow! What a Rollercoaster!
This has to be, without a doubt, the most frustrating, amazing book Iβve read in a long time. Iβm totally hooked and canβt wait to read the next installment about this Magical Triad.

Cute but Cringe

Lincoln Thorne is the alpha of the North American Pack. When both of them are forced to be married, they decide to fake-date.This was cute. It was a trope filled romance and a cute quick read. The fake dating trope is something that can be overdone and too much, but itβs perfectly done here. The characters were well done. I also liked the how the characters interacted with each other. There were a lot of cringey parts. The dated pop culture references, and the childish talking made Violet seem like she was an immature teenager instead of in her in thirties. Not to mention Violet and Harper are introduced by their cup size first and other attributes second.β¨The world building left much to be desired. There was a massive info dump in the beginning, but there was a lot more explanation needed for all the world. What is the structure of everything? It was so vague. The magic system was also lacking. Like what did witches magic do? How was it used? There was a whole training scene, and I still felt clueless about magic.Overall, itβs cute. If you like the fake dating trope, and quick books where it doesnβt matter about world building, then this is definitely for you.

Fun second chance romance/fake dating shifter witch romance
π Not the Witch You Wed is a fun second chance romance/fake dating trope featuring a witch and an alpha wolf shifter. Violet comes from a family of witches, but thinks she has no magicβuntil she realizes she does and just needs to figure out how to control and direct it.Β πΊ This book is full of all things witchy and supernatural, mixed with family drama and lots of banter and romantic tension. I love books with sister witches and coupled with a New York City setting, it was kind of like Spells Trouble and Sex and the City had a baby! Funny, sexy and sweet, this book is everything you need to head into fall witchy season

Cute story
It's a cute story I love Bax and Harper, and Lincoln.I love that interactions with Christina were limited, that would have made the story a bit more complex for sure, but not as cute and fluffy.
