Vocabulary from Latin and Greek Level IX

Requirement for school it did the job but not exactly an enjoyable read…

While this vocabulary workbook is one of the best I have seen, I was shocked by some of the typos! The information (definitions, roots, etc...) is correct, but in the instructions for the exercises, there are often words left out. For example, the directions read "define the words" and there is a gap where the word italicized should be. There were other omissions in the directions that were confusing for students and I am surprised this otherwise excellent workbook was not edited more carefully!

I previously bought another book that look exactly like this one but it was the wrong book my daughter needed for school. Amazon was amazing by refunding me my money so this time I purchased the correct book, we are very happy and satusfied with our purchase and the way amazon handle our situation......we are loyal buyers for life.

I got this as a birthday gift for my grandson. He’s taking Latin next year in school & thought it Would be good head start.

I teach gifted 6th graders in a suburban Chicago middle school, and this program fit my needs well. The kids were able to learn, use, and understand the words. I like teaching vocabulary through Greek and Latin roots and this is the best workbook that I have come across. I would also recommend this for a parent who is looking to supplement their child's education at home.

This is a great resource for helping students with vocabulary understanding.Very resourceful for 9th graders and higher. Will be helpful for preparing for the SAT & ACT.I recommend it for anyone in the field of education and with English classes.
