I tried different application on my phone to use the camera yet it's not connecting

Helps See Motion at NightThe day vision on this camera is great. The night vision is spectacular! The camera picks up motion if someone or something walks in front of it in the dark. But it will also register when a light comes on. If I keep my foyer dark, I can keep track of when my kids get up and flick the hallway light on. I can also get notified when they get out of bed.Because there is a slight delay between the motion and the notification, the kids are usually in my room by the time I get notified that they are up. But if they go into the kitchen or somewhere else in the house, I know they’re awake and I can ask them if they need help with anything.Sometimes, the camera gets confused with motion at night. I think that it gets reflections off of the window that it’s facing. If I turn it slightly so it’s not aimed at the window, it appears to work better.I mean, the daytime usage for this camera is perfect too, but I figured that a lot of cameras are good during the day. This one is ideal around the clock, which was what I was looking for in an indoor security cam.

Nice Little Cam With Privacy FeaturesOK so you might say I have some conspiracy theories, but I do worry that big brother is watching. My wife wanted to get these cameras, but I didn’t want my whole house to be recorded all the time. Don’t get me wrong, I am not doing anything that shouldn’t be taped, but I just like to have a little privacy. Don’t want anyone watching me, things like that.So I let my wife talk me into it, and we set up two cameras. One for the front door, and one for the kids playroom. And the thing is, I’ve read that you can’t turn the camera off with some of the other brands. Like, you have to unplug them completely. This one can be turned off with a push of the button on the app. So if I decide that I want a little more privacy, I can just stop the camera from my phone. It might be the first thing my wife has talked me into that is actually useful.Great price for the quality!

It took me less than five minutes to set up this little hoop home security camera. The instructions are great. I connected it to a power outlet, waited for the LED light to flash (it’s small and in the back where you plug the power cord into the camera). Then, I pressed the setup button and got a voice response.Added the camera to the Hoop app in my phone, and came across a hurdle when trying to connect it to my Wi-Fi. Useful information: At the point where you scan the QR code, if it won’t connect to your network, it might give you a voice response that says, “Can’t find network name.” I knew I had typed the name in correctly, so I tried it again a few times. It turns out I was entering the wrong password. Make sure you have your Wi-Fi password and network name correct, and then setup is a cinch.After that, it was easy to finish setting up the camera, and now I have a live feed of my entire front Foyer.The app itself I would consider very user-friendly with simple Settings and features. Simplified but still with advanced features, especially around notifications and reminders that serves well as a personal helper. FYI, when I was looking for some specificinstructions on how to’s and features I was able to find most answers at hoophome.com.The rest I was able to get through their customer service that offers phone chat and email that turned out to be very helpful.

I have tried to think positive about this camera but it’s just impossible because it does not preform good at all. I have another type camera in my house and it works great. Please don’t waste your time buying this camera. The video on the website is very deceiving.

I am pretty impressed with this home security camera. I honestly got it to keep an eye on my dog when we are out of the house. I have never owned a security camera as I was always afraid it would be to technical for me to use. That is not the case at all. This camera was pretty easy to use right right out of the box. I followed the directions and downloaded the app and located the camera. Within a few minutes I was watching myself right on my cellphone screen. It records a still image, it does not move however you can enlarge what's on the screen. The picture is actually pretty clear and visible. I am pretty happy with the camera it works better than I expected and was much easier to set up than I anticipated. I am thinking I may need atleast 1 more camera to cover the majority of my living area. I am now able to check in on my pup while we are away. It gives me such piece of mind knowing she is okay. I dont know why I ever waited so long to get a camera! This one was super easy to set up and pretty user friendly. I like I can record and listen to audio right on my phone.
