I've have slept uninterupted every night since using these splints.
I have bilateral ulnar nerve entrapment which was identified by my sleep doctor and an orthopedic doctor as carpel tunnel syndrome and in each incident, I challenge their diagnosis. A few weeks later I ruptured a bicep tendon, the bicep turned black and blue almost immediately, in a few days the color started to fade so I took a photo. On a follow up visit to the doctor who had said it was CTS and arthritis from calcium in the shoulder determined by and x-ray, I told the RN I had ruptured my bicep tendon which she ignored. On the next FU visit I brought the picture, I showed it to the RN and before the Doctor could get through the door, she informed him with my picture that I had ruptured the bicep tendon. They then sent me for a CT scan of my spine and an EMG test to rule out CTS, diagnosis bilateral ulna neuropathy. Upon returning to my sleep doctor he recommended a neurologist who I’ve been seeing a for about 6+ yrs who performed an EMG test and concurred with the diagnosis. Recently I get a new RN who has the same doctor her boss performs an EMT test again to rule out CTS same results. I’m taking 600mg of gabapentin 3x a day and I was waking up 2 to 3 times every night with the numbness and pain in my hands. She said the only solution is surgery, that’s what they said when it was diagnosed as CTS.After an internet search which recommended elbow splints, I ordered this product, I have been using them for a week and have had 100% success, I have not woken up once. With both arms in the splints it is difficult to adjust the straps, so I grip the pajama sleeves when I slip on the splints then fold back the cuffs over the splints and run some paper tape around the cuff and splint.

Easy to put on without help
I am using this product because I have ulnar nerve syndrome in my wrist and elbow and my doctor recommended sleeping with a towel wrapped around my elbow or this type of brace. The towel did not work very well and kept slipping down and my hand would swell. I wear this brace at night to keep my arm in a straight position. It is working so far to relieve some of the pain. I like this product because it has a sleeve to slip your arm through which makes it easier to put it on without help. And the strap also helps keep the brace from sliding or moving when I’m sleeping.

What I needed until the skin tear on my arm heals
I got these because I had torn a significant piece of skin on my arm, and I needed to protect the area until it healed, a process taking several weeks. Because of too much sun exposure, my skin is very thin and fragile, and it heals slowly. I treated the area first with antibiotic ointment and later with Aquaphor ointment, to keep it from drying too much. I also keep a telfa (nonstick) pad but absorbent pad over the area to protect it. I cover all that with self-adhering sports wrap to hold it in place. The wrap tends to irritate my skin, causing it to itch, so I apply hydrocortisone cream to the skin outside the healing area. I wear this Adjustable Compression Elbow Support Brace at night only, when I am sleeping. I took the metal strips out, as I did not need any joint immobilization. I wear a thin soft gym shirt with long sleeves under the brace, which I position between my wrist and elbow. The brace keeps the pad and sports wrap in place over the wound, which is important.

Comfortable but a little too flexible
Bought this when I was having severe nerve pain in my elbow. Doctors said to immobilize it while I was sleeping especially. It only really helped when I was awake. It’s way too flexible otherwise. I would wake up with a fully bent elbow like it wasn’t even there. So if you don’t need to sleep in it, I would say it’s worth it. Otherwise you might need to find a better alternative.

Good for rehabilitative work
As a massage and exercise therapist, I use this product to keep the arms of my clients straight so they can enable movement from the shoulders where it is needed when you have a stroke. Most times there is a tendency for the client to bend their arms inwards to their body, this prevents that and allows for better shoulder movement. In does come in sizes and is not harsh on their skin. Once it is fastened securely, it has the result I need. I am still using it and it has stood up to the laundering I have subjected it too so far. Will update more as I go along.

Works just ok
Bought this for hubby. He has nerve issues in his elbow and he sleeps in this now to protect that. He says it stays put without using the shoulder strap and is comfy when he sleeps.Edit: 01/28/2020Changed from a 5 star to a 3 star due to it ripping already. See picEdit again: 12/10/2020So far I have received an email twice now trying to pay me $10 to remove my review. The whole point of doing a review is to be honest about the product. I will not change my review!!

I was expecting it to be a horrible experience, but it isn't that baad, actually
I can't say as I want to need such an item, but when your doctor says to wear an elbow brace when sleeping to avoid surgery, you go out and get an elbow brace. I settled on this one. It's been a few weeks, and I can't say as I love wearing it, but it isn't as horrid I had expected. I thought I would be cooking in some hot plastic thing, but I haven't felt any different, temperature-wise. There are thee "bones" in it, and I did take one of them out because it was poking me in a bit. Without it, I can bend my elbow a bit, but not much, so it is still doing its job without it and is way more comfortable. Since those bones come out, it seems like it will be easier to wash and dry ( which is good, b/c I'm supposed to wear it for three months). Honestly, I was surprised at how much I didn't hate it.
