I can't rave about it enough. I can set up my teen daughters morning and night meds for a 14 day cycle. It's locked and I keep the key so she can't tamper with the meds. The alarms are set for morning and night to remind her to take her meds...very nice consistent schedule. The device won't stop beeping until she takes her pills out so there's no risk of forgetting. I love it. I think it would work great for elder med management as well.

This is working great for my mom. We have had to change the intervals a few times because of her prescribed medicines and doctors finding what works for her medicine wise. But I love that you have up to 9 different alarms to use throughout the day.It does get easier as time moves along to open the face of the container, just be patient. It took about a month for me. When ever I had to open the face of the container I would open the pill dispensary door, place my index finger inside to lift the face while pressing the green button down with my other thumb from my other hand. Just perform this action with caution because you risk all the pills falling out if the whole wheel has not dispensed all pills yet.Others have said in reviews smaller pills get stuck when dispensing, What I have done to avoid this is I have asked my mom to flip it over completely and open the door and all pills will come out. I asked that she do this over the bed, so she can see the pills laying on her bed. She has yet to experience the pills getting stuck in the slot between the wheel and the device.Even if you take out the battery (which we have had to due to multi hospital visits) the previous alarm settings are still set! No resetting the alarms or trying to remember what you had set before!This is worth the money and has worked for my mom. Pill life is easier now.

This is a 28 day automatic medicine dispensing machine. Not sure why they didn't make it a 31 day to match days in the month.Note: If you need to dispense meds twice (2) a day it will only be good for 14 days.It flashes along with alarm and the alarm can be really loud if needed. Alarm sounds until the unit is tipped over for dispensing.Easy to load and set up. Locks to protect from spilling or unwanted tampering.I bought one for both of my parents, put their individual names on each and set different dispensing times.Loving it so far..very comforting knowing that they are taking their meds daily

This has been a game changer for sure. Easy to set up and easier for elderly grandparent to use. I did purchase the flipper thingy but so far have been unsuccessful in mounting to device so as to not fall off. We mounted once , tilted and device fell to floor. No breaks, no cravks, didn’t pop open nor did meds bounce into other compartments. Great item! Now if only we can get to secure and stay on flipper thingy

After 45 minutes, my husband and I programmed it but the buzzer is loud and if our elderly mother with memory issues misses a dose because she is out of her apartment, the medication does not release late. TooMuch trouble.

I bought this to keep my 4yr old grandson safe. The alarm is too loud, even on its lowest setting. The lid is difficult to close. When your doctor changes your medication dosages and you have to clear out all of the slots and refill them, it is a difficult task to do this. This is not an easy item to use. The medication slots are narrow and deep. The medication tray moves off center and makes it difficult to close the lid. Trying to realign the tray can prove to be difficult sometimes. Setting the alarms for different dosages at different times of the day is frustrating. Setting the date and time is an exercise in futility. Overall performance is subpar.

I never used it because the compartments are too small to contain my vitamins. This unit is more suited for small pills and perhaps a daily multivitamin.
