GED Total Solution, For the 2025-2026 GED Test: Certified GED Aligned Prep (GED® Test Preparation)

The book is workable and worth $20 if you have someone around that can help. I've included an example of what I am bitching about below.First, I bought this for my nephew who needs to take the GED. As for myself, I hold a Juris Doctor which is basically a doctorate degree in law. He has been working in my office so I have been able to assist when things are unclear.The problem with this book is that there are numerous typos that both confound and frustrate a student because they just don't make sense. In my example, he asked me about a math problem, which I determined was typed incorrectly. The solution detailed the formula usage incorrectly, which has been a common theme.This book is RIDDLED with typos and syntax errors. It's like nobody thought that an editor was worth money. These errors make it difficult for a student who struggled with classroom style learning. To be so callous with the editing only makes this stage more difficult.I would still say that the book is worth the money because it was so cheap and the diagnostic tool worked well. Other than that, know that it's full of typos and that you can't always trust their proposed solutions.

Before considering this book for your GED study's, please hear the words from a guy who has recently obtained his ged and used a variety of resources to study with for the ged test. I bought this book from barnes and noble, but found how mis-informing this study guide is with in days of the purchase. I want to at least leave reviews on the big online sites to warn people. This book has many many MANY typos and often on the practice tests. Nothing is more frustrating than doing the formula the exact right way and not having your answer show up on multiple choices for answers. It confuses you and makes you second guess yourself and just even further puts you behind on your studies. The math section in paticular will contradict itself repeatibility and every math practice test has at least 2 out of every ten questions with a some form of typo. I used other sources for social studies and language arts. The science section of this book also has typos (not as many as math) which makes it extremely frustrating since science involves memorizing a variety of words and what they mean, such as: mitosis, green pigment, celluar respiration, meiosis, troposphere, ect. This book also doesnt explain processes fully (such as math formulas and celluar processes). It seems to be more of a "brush up" on the four subjects and not an actual step by step study guide. It left leave out crucial information that i ultimately had to go to youtube to learn the correct methods/ answers.In my opinion, this is not a good book for studying the ged. I would say its good if you just want to brush up on your knowledge, but with how many typos there are... its just not worth getting mis-informed and flunking.

As the president of an educational consulting and tutoring firm, we vet our books very carefully, and have found working with REA materials to be exceptional. Other books have had typos or incomplete explanations, and we have found this series of books to be comprehensive and effective. The GED is all about knowing basics, and this book ensures students have the tools to do that.

This is a solid test prep manual to help people get ready for the GED. Definitely recommend!
