RovyVon A8 Keychain Torch

Finally bit the bullet, when it was on sale, still expensive but I love it even if it is a bit challenging to work through the different options, super bright and small. the tail magnet annoyed me by keep attaching to my key smart clip so I took it off and stowed it in a tin in my kit with the pocket clip. Battery life is awesome, and in hindsight I would have paid the extra and got the one with the iv and white side light as that may be more useful that the bright Amber one. Although I have already had use for that, so maybe I’ll just have to get another one 🤣

A little pocket rocket, I got a few of these for around the house. The 3 light setting are amazing and the extra feature are okay but I barely use them. The magnet on the cap and the back are super strong too.

First thing to say is this is an amazing torch for the size, or any size perhaps. At full brightness it lights up our back garden brighter than the 6 cell Maglite I have. It fits easily on my keyring without getting in the way, it is smaller than my car key. My only gripe is that it is perhaps a little too complicated. So far I have never used any of the various coloured flashing modes, but I can see a use for the flashing red or amber. However, it takes a lot of complicated button presses to get to the specific colour and pattern you want. I wish now I had opted for the simpler RovyVon A1, but I bought this after seeing a review on YouTube and liked the idea of all the different options.

Honestly for its size you won't believe the light t his generates, sure its charge time isn't massively long, but i use this as an emergency torch or for pinpointing things at home or in my dark garden, for that its amazing, it can get a little hot around the lighting element but thats par for the course

This torch for me is first class for EDC and i like it a lot however it’s not as good as its big brother the A28. The A8 as i say is fantastic and will do what you want it to do but the difference in strength from them both is night & day. if you can afford the A28 then get it if space is your ultimate goal then the A 8 is superb

Really useful little light. So bright on it's highest setting. Don't look into the light. Holds a charge well and the magnetic clip is effective and versatile.

so this was delivered as an empty box, returned and received a full refund. However I did purchases this light (the A8) from a different site and can attest that it is a verry powerful little thing, with great functions and magnets work great too.

Best light in their catalog . Small enough to bring anywhere and battery life is reasonable. I own like 3 of these.

After more than a year of almost every single day carrying this light, the plastic clip for the key-ring broke. So I emailed support to see if they had any ideas to fix this, and they had not. But, they paid me back 50% of the purchase price! Great customer service, thank you! Ps. Found advice on Reddit recommending to fix the clip using JB Weld or instant glue + baking soda
