A family favorite!
Feast for 10 has been a family favorite with my children from their earliest days! My younger boys have requested it by name from the time they started speaking! It's a wonderful counting book that focuses on family traditions and the process of grocery shopping and preparing food for a family meal. I was so excited to find a board book copy of this beautiful book. It will be the book I include with all baby and toddler gifts from now on.

A Treat for Families!
We love Feast for Ten! The sweet illustrations and the loving family portrayed draw us in. Our daughter loves to count on each page and always says, "Shh!" when the family gets home because she noticed that the baby is sleeping. Thank you for sharing this wonderful book with us!

Awesome book for toddlers
This was one of my son's first books. We read it daily. As an African American mom, representation was very important to me so I always made sure my son saw a lot of brown faces in his books from day one. This is a basic counting book that shows a family preparing for a big meal. They go to the store to buy the food, prepare it and sit down to a meal together, counting all the way. I recommend giving this as part of a collection of board books as a shower gift.

Great book about family
Our 6, 8, 10 year-olds loved this book! They could really identify with the big family in the book and we will make it a tradition to read it, especially before holidays and family gatherings!

Great for black families
Book is small and perfect for little children’s hands. The artwork of the black family is perfect. Story is about family taking a trip to the grocery store, coming home to cook and then eat. Counts 1 to 10 then 10 to 1. Great book to have in your children’s home library.

Racist tones
I got this book for an assignment. I needed a book to along with the theme of diversity and math. I was told by other reviews and recommendations that this book was very ideal. However, as you can see in this image, there is some racial stereotyping that is so inappropriate and does not promote healthy diversity as I was lead to believe. I give the author credit for trying to include diversity in her books, this one just hasn't aged well.

Awesome Book
A book that my little guy loved off the hop. Visual patterns/textures, big numbers to facilitate learning, nice rhyming from page to page and an all around fun story focused on food and family. Love it
