great for stripping uF cable
UF cable is tough to strip, but this stripper helps to make the job easier. A little tricky to use but with a little practice i found it to do the job

Operator Error or ????
It makes that be operator error or poor instructions but this tool do not meet my needs. I practiced on scrap pieces of 14-2 UF and had absolutely no luck. Resorted to the old razor method to get the job done. Will be returning for refund.

Has potential but has flaws
Only works on new UF cable and at that can be tricky to use. Old UF cable is hard to strip with this. The blade gets nicked there is no getting another blade. I wrote the company about a new blade and they never wrote back. It has potential but it also has flaws. You have a lot of new UF cable to strip. It is faster but you still may nick your cable and in so doing nick your blade. Mine after useing it old UF the blade broke and had to go back to the old fashion way. Be nice if the company actually responded back to its customer's!

but works fine. be carefull if you dont have extra slack ...
blade could be tighter, take a lil practice, but works fine.be carefull if you dont have extra slack on your wire cause it will skin it to the bone if squeeze too tight.

Does not perform well at all...
The stripper has a blade similar to a potato peeler. You place the cable on its side press down LIGHTLY and slice a small amount of the outer jacket away. Then you flip the cable over and repeat. Then you can peel away the rest of the jacket. In theory, maybe, in practice NO WAY! It is way too easy to strip some of the insulation from the outer conductors.I don't normally mention other products but the Ideal blue UF stripper is much much better. It's not perfect, which is why I tried this, but most of the time it did work.

I like it now
I did not like it at first. It takes practice to get good at it. I've been using it for a while. I like it now.

Good product.
I use this to splice outdoor 12 and 14 gauge UF cable, it makes the job effortless. I would buy it again, but I don't think it's going to break for a long time. Good product.
