I bought these for a special Christmas dinner I was hosting, these plates are so beautiful! Much nicer than I was expecting. They seem nice and sturdy without too many variations, no nicks or chips in any of them and the rim around the plate is perfect for sauces and gravy’s!

I'm super pleased with the modern matte glaze and shape of both the bowls and the 10" plates. The plates have a half inch lip, not curved - an actual sharp edge lip so it's modern as well as practical for sauces. Quality heavy feel, much heavier than expected so I'll keep using my crazy lightweight corelle for everyday. But these AmorArc are great for entertaining. Stood up to cutting chicken and washed up beautifully in the dishwasher. I gave only 4 stars cuz I haven't had them long enough to warrant 5 for durability. I'm going to purchase turquoise small plates to make setting look nice and tie in my existing but dated turquoise stuff.
