Derale 13017 Transmission/Engine Oil Hose , Black

This hose is of great quality. The walls are greater than 1/8in thick with reinforcing in between the layers. The OD on this is 11/16in. Because of this, the hose tends to not be super flexible, but it will definitely hold up to hot oil that it was meant for. I got this to replace some old/deteriorated transmission cooler hoses on my older truck. Overall, a very nice quality hose that should last a long time. This product is thicker than other hose I’ve seen. Seems to be really good quality.

I used this to replace a bunch of fabricobbled junk from a side-of-the-road cooler line explosion. This hose was easy to work with, fit well, and appears to be thicker OD than all of the other same diameter hose I tore out. Also, it was harder to cut. As in I couldn't just score it with side cutters a few times and rip it, I had to actually get out my knife.I measured temps at idle with the old hose and new, and the external surface of the hose was around 5 deg F cooler than the previous hose with the same reading on the transmission cooler face after idling for 10 minutes.Would buy again, and glad I bought extra.

I thought that I bought too much but I wound up using all but about a half a foot to install a remote transmission cooler under the bed of my truck. Its seems like very high quality hose and its working great so far. I'll update if this changes.

I used this hose to add a Magnefine transmission fluid filter and a B&M oil cooler on my vehicle. The hose is much thicker and of far better quality than the OEM transmission hoses in my car. It has stood up to daily driving in Las Vegas heat and cold without issues in stop-and-go traffic...so far!This hose has a reinforced wall that required a little heat to get them onto coupler fittings, but it was worth the extra step to set everything up the way I wanted.If you need a replacement hose for your power steering, engine oil or transmission fluid...look no further. I guarantee you won't find a better quality hose at this price!

This is the same fit and of the same quality as the OEM power steering hoses on Toyota, Lexus, Honda and Acura cars. The original clamps fit this hose just as they fit the OEM hoses. Having acquired this hose, I am no longer searching for another brand. Strongly recommended.

worked out good added a cooler and a Magnefine on 2 Honda CRVs seems like good quality hose not flimsy looks better than the hose that Honda uses and the hose that came with the Hayden coolers so used it and replaced all the hose that Honda used about 22' of it and used fuel injection clamps they dont strip and dig into the hose like the worm gear type
