Pretty impressed with longevity!
First time using this after being pink for years and trying multiple brands its lasted well ! Bleached hair then dried and on my thin shoulder length hair I used 1.5 pots. Left about 1 hr as im lazy, washed ofv very soft and good condition. Colours lovely. I wash my hair every day so this lasted me 10 days which is very good ! Will absolutely be buying this now thanks !!

Great
I have tried a number of “bright” semi permanent colouring brands and La Riche Directions seems to be the best. Although results/durability tend to vary by shade, the turquoise feels like one of the best. I have dark brown hair and bleach the ends, so I apply it on light brown (top end) to light blonde (tips) hair. Like with other non-ammonia, non-permanent dyes, you have to leave it on a lot longer than it says (unless you have very light coloured hair), so I’d recommend putting it on for at least a couple of hours. It rinses out quite clear compared to the magenta version of the same brand, which makes a mess in your bath, but the colour lasts quite a while. It loses intensity after 4-5 washes, but the effect is quite nice as it ends up being a light green-ish shade. This is the process I follow:- Wash hair (ideally with a non-silicone shampoo) and do not apply any conditioner, serum or product. You can do this the day before.- On fully dry hair, apply colour with a brush (your fingers are fine too, but you’ll probably need a comb to make sure your hair is well saturated)- Cover the streaks with tinfoil or the whole head with a shower-cap- Wait for at least 2 hours if you want an intense, long lasting effect- Rinse until water runs clear- Condition and style as usualI find it doesn’t damage my hair, and the result is great until you’ve washed it a few times. The only downside is the size/shape of the pots, as they’re too narrow for a dying brush so you have to decant it into a bowl. This is only a minor inconvenience, though.Another upside is that, like with most hair colourants of this type, you can save whatever you don’t use, so you don’t waste any.

Works for me on pre-lightened hair
I use the violet colour mixed with the white toner to create a lilac. Sometimes add a dash of silver. This works well over pre-lightened hair that I do with an ordinary off-the-shelf product that lifts my dark blonde hair a little lighter so that it accepts the colour. The result is a head of hair with light purple overtones which I love. The only issue is getting this stuff evenly distributed, even though I apply it with a tinting brush, rub it in throughout and comb it all through. I can only think that the bleaching process isn't that even either and this causes the hair to be more absorbent in different areas. I leave this colour on as long as I can be bothered to wait, with a plastic shower cap on to increase the heat. The longer you leave it, the more intense the colour. I sometimes use a hair dryer to increase the heat but not convinced this makes any difference. I lot of colour washes out when you rinse so don't worry about that. The colour does fade each time you wash your hair. I have used some of this colour mixed in my conditioner to boost the shade in between the full colouring process which works well. I've tried other products in the high street stores that are supposed to add purple/silver shades to blonde hair and none of them touch my hair, so I now stick with this one!

Red but disappointing
The product went on easily enough with no unpleasant smell it looked really vibrant at first but unfortunately after just two hair washes with shampoo and conditioner it is fading already and washing out so that was a little disappointing. I would probably buy again just to try to keep my hair colour vibrant.

Vibrant and easy to use.
Make sure you follow instructions (test patch) and wear gloves. I love this red. It’s vibrant and it has a hint of magenta in it as well (bit of a cold tone red). I love this brand it’s been my go to for 10+ years. For best results bleach hair to light blonde. But still can see some vibrancy without bleaching too light.

Great top up Colour
This is a great product my daughter has her hair black & red due to a few holidays the sun total bleach the red out of her hair so in between hair appointments and holidays this was a great top up to her hair, please note she already has dyed red hair at the hairdresser. Before and after photos attached.

Worked great :)
Happy with the shade [Pastel Pink], same colour as adverised, it was the first time dyeing my hair a non-natural colour but it's easy to use :)What you need:- Hair bleach powder- Volume 40 peroxide developer (if you have medium brown hair like me), volume 30 peroxide if you are blonde. If you have black/dark hair and you want to get a light shade of hair, it's very hard, you'll need to get it done by a professional- White hair toner (this is CRUCIAL- I use a purple shampoo that gets rid of yellow tones)Instructions- Mix bleach powder and peroxide developer and bleach hair- Tone your hair to get as white as possible. Otherwise you'll have yellowy undertones to your colours which, trust me, never looks good- Apply this shampoo and leave on until desired colour reached. For guys with a really tight haircut on the side like me, the short hairs will go much pinker than the rest of your hair if you're not careful, so after 7 minutes I wiped it off the sides of my head, allowing the top of my head to develop for longer. For me, the recommended 15 minutes wasn't long enough to dye my longest hairs as pink as I wanted them, so I then applied shampoo just on the top of my head and waited another 15 minutes. It all worked out though, I'm really happy with the shade :) Only dyed it today so I can't comment on the longevity.

gut
