These work well but hard to assemble
These worked out perfectly for my Steelseries Arena 9 system rear speakers BUTthere is a plastic collar that comes on the upper half that you have to push into the tube of the lower half ,and it's a little oversized and is REALLY hard to push it in there, I could not get it pushed in there until I smeared a little bit of hand lotion around it for a tittle lube ' (I used that just because that's what I had handy there) even then I had to pound them in there ( I used a tack hammer to do that). The manufacturer needs to look into it to adjusting the outside diameter of that collar Otherwise there will probably be a lot of people that will just send them back.Once they were assembled I liked them , they are stable and they worked out perfect with my speakers

GREAT FOR SMALL LEGACY SPEAKERS
I needed to use something to elevate my two legacy Radio Shack Minimus 1 speakers (circa 1970) for rear surround sound. The speaker has no holes so I needed to find something that I can mount the speaker to, After studying all the speaker stand configurations, this one did the job.The speaker is screwed onto the mount using short wood screws. The mounting is sufficient for this size and weight of speaker. The stand itself is plenty sturdy and holds the speaker well without rocking. It seems solid enough.HINT: I had the speakers already wired and the system running and thought that the wires can go through the tubes. Wrong, the connectors got caught in the tubes and couldn't pass through to the end. Run the wires through both tubes BEFORE putting the two tubes together. This will save you from cutting off the wires and pulling the wire from the top section to the bottom section. I needed to cut the wire, run a wire from the top through to the bottom, reconnect the cut wires and re-attach the blade connectors. Otherwise run the wires from the top hole and fish it out on the bottom hole and adjust the length all the way to the amplifier before cutting/splicing/installing terminal connectors, etc. These speaker stands are a good buy and I'm pleased with the curved neck and the very sturdy base. Happy listening.

Great!
These are actually really great. It was hard to find some adjustable stands for my wireless Yamaha MusicCast 20 (WX-021) speakers. But these worked awesome!!! The base could be a little sturdier but these aren't bad and do the job fine. Great price, great deal!

This Stand Falls Short
I bought a new surround sound theater system and needed a couple of nice stands to hold my speakers. These. stands had high reviews, which gave me high hopes. They looked great in the photos and sounded really good. Here is my issues wit this stand. First, the hole to run the wire is not that big. I had standard red and white A?V cords and they did not fit. I had to make the hole larger by cutting it with a dremel. Even after that, I had to finagle the cord down the pole a bit by loosening screws along the route (the collar and the base). It was way too much work for something that should have been standard. My other issue is that the base does not feel pretty stable. It is sitting on carpet and I feel that a swift breeze or someone walking past one of the stands too briskly will cause it to tip over. Don't get me wrong, they have not tipped over yet, but I had to position them a few times to have them sit properly. My speakers are well below the advertised weight limit of 11 pounds, so weight is not an issue. My final issue is that even at their maximum height, they do not even get close to being able to extend over my couch. I will have to make a platform for the one that sits behind the couch. The other one is positioned off of the couch, so it is fine. This is just an OK stand. I probably would not have bought it if I had knew all of it shortcomings and limitations and went with another stand.
