GOURMEO Salt or Pepper Mill with a Acrylic Glass Body, Sharp Adjustable Ceramic Grinder | Manual herb and Spice Crusher, Suitable for coarse sea Salt, peppercorns and Other Spices

Purchased to use with Sea Salt primarily to add salt into bread mixes, I could not initially disconnect the lid to be able to fill up the container with salt (I have arthritic hands). The reservoir is not actually very large and I find that I am refilling approximately after 3 batches of bread, which means the capacity is roughly 30g of salt. I still find it difficult to remove the lid to fill.It is easy to operate and fill, but as the lid mechanism runs with the ridges on the actually top edge of the reservoir, you have to make very sure that there are no bits of salt left when filling, otherwise the lid will not seat properly and no salt is dispensed when the grinding mechanism is operated.Overall, I am really pleased with my purchase. It is easy to keep clean and there is nothing in the mechanism, that I can see, that will go rusty in time.

I bought this to replace a similar product which had a glass window, it splintered and I got glass in my hand and food.This one has a synthetic window.The instructions come with a leap of faith direction for removing the metal cap, to fill it - pull 'as if you would break it in half'.My pepper mills seldom last out of their warranties and this one comes with a vendor's 2 year satisfaction guarantee.

Opened it up to put in the peppercorns & I can't close it up again (with or without the peppercorns). There are no instructions with it but the only bit that can open is the grinder. That unscrews easily enough but putting it back together afterwards at least without instructions is impossible. Putting it back together with peppercorns in the bar in the middle everything screws onto doesn't come far enough up to screw the grinder back onto it anyway even if I could put it back together without anything in there.

Initially it may seem like a difficult and long process for a grinder! But once you get the hang of it, it does come in handy!P.s you do have to open the lid like you’re going to snap it in half!😂

I've had this for about 6 months now and it's a good purchase. The ceramic works much more efficiently than the metal or plastic ones and it's easy to refill.

The media could not be loaded.  Works ok. Had to read the reviews to figure out how to open it, so have made a video.

Came with no instructions and you had to guess how to fill it. Works very well and looks good.

I love ground black pepper and this mill is serving me well. I like the fact one can adjust the grind size. The top has a tendency to come off in your hands at times though.
