10.3 New Large Numbers Steel Outdoor/Indoor Thermometer Waterproof Decorative

It was packaged well, came quickly (day early), nice finish…. Overall, I like the fact that it does have some fine tuning ability on the back, however in my case, I didn’t have to. Just hung it up in my shop and compared to a laser temperature gun!

Thermometer has nice presentation and size. Stuck it up easily and seems sturdy. Great addition to an outdoor summer location to help identity just how hot it is.

This is a great-looking, sturdy and apparently accurate thermometer, but I have two problems with its readabilty.The first, and this is more a matter of just what I'm used to, is that the Centrigrade readings are on the left and the Fahrenheit on the right, which is the opposite of all other thermometers I have ever owned, so until I get used to it I need more than just a quick glance.The other problem, and it's more significant, is that the finish on the metal is much darker than shown in the illustrative photo and, while it is very attractive, it is extremely difficult to see the black numerals against the steely gray of the body. The only way to make that easier would be to move it into direct light, which is exactly where a thermometer should not be.Were I to buy another, I would not get this color.Edit: I neglected to look carefully at how this thermometer is calibrated. It only goes to 104 degrees and this range is no longer adequate for summers in inland California.

We purchased the vertical thermometer for our 130 year old house. Capped in copper, adjustable arm that allows viewing from different angles and even comes with rubber washers for the screws for a firm attachment to the house.We mounted it outside a southern kitchen window over our potting bench. The adjustable bracket allows viewing from the kitchen or while working at the potting bench.

Bracket isn't completely anodized and one of the screws on the end of the thermometer is stripped. Also return options only prompts you to self troubleshoot???

GREAT PRICE FOR GREAT FUNCTIONALITY

I like that the support is adjustable, so that you can rotate it as needed for visibility. I checked it's accuracy with a thermoworks thermometer and it looks accurate. Looks good too.
