FOILART Creative Foiling Set

The media could not be loaded.  These use glue to stick the foil, it’s not for heat transfer just so you know but this pack is huge value for some fun foiling projects. I made videos on YouTube with it. I used it with decofoil transfer gel through stencils, came out great! It does come with a glue pen that you can also use but I would recommend trying the transfer gels for a great coverage! Compared to rolls for hot foiling the price is great and with a little effort can look just as good! Great product, no complaints!

Oh, brilliant!!The foil colours were a little different to those shown, but no problem, there's a nice selection and I think it will go a long way.The glue pen is great as it is blue coloured so you can see what you are doing and the point is quite fine so nice for details. The foil stuck really well and the backing came away cleanly.You really must let the glue dry to clear for it to work properly, I deliberately left some blue glue and it smudged all over the place! LOL.Pressing the foiled card/paper through a roller helps to set the foil on the glue. I just used my Sissix cutting machine with foiled piece sandwiched between a piece of card stock.

Great value

I do like these foils, but it was a real effort to take off the sellotape holding the foil in a roll! Otherwise OK.

What I didn’t like about this product: each roll is secured with very sticky tape which when you eventually manage to peel it off leaves a sticky residue on the foil, which means that you loose the first 2 inches of foil. I love the colours. I used this product for making greeting cards and it didn’t always adhere to the transfer gel properly.

An excellent alternative to heat foiling. Have used this several times now and find the use of the glue pen requires some practice to get the flow correct so that not too much glue comes out in one go. Can be used to foil anything you can print unlike the hot foil which requires a laser printer and laminator. Comes in a variety of colours and even holographic. Also can be used by all ages.

I have tried many times to get the foil to cover all of the printed design I'm printing it on, and for the majority it works, but there are still little bits that just won't cover no matter how many times you go over them. Cards need to be 100% perfect on the front, and this set isn't good for that.Also, the foil is stuck together with selotape, and like another review, I agree this is a disadvantage.
