I think they're worth a try
These are different and take a little getting used to, but I love the idea and convenience of them. I'm not sure about the results but think that someone who lives in an area with even less sunshine than me (in Arkansas) could possibly benefit way more from them than I've personally been able to. I've never really been affected by SAD in the past, but this winter it hit me really hard, and my body was craving sunshine so badly. I didn't realize how much my mood was being affected until the first day that the sun came out in weeks, and it was such an immediate boost. Unfortunately, these glasses do not give that same immediate effect. And every time that I would start demonstrating consistency with using these, would correlate with when the sun finally decided to come out. So, I'm not able to give reliable results. I think that if I lived in an area with less sunshine than we got this winter though, that I would most definitely give them a try to see if they possibly helped. They're a little weird but not uncomfortable. They should adjust to most head sizes and can be worn while you multitask. They possibly helped me a little, but I can't say for sure either way. They didn't instantly help but could over time. I think they're worth a try if you're willing to be consistent with wearing them.

YMMV, but not for me.
I have been using these for a bit over a month now, and I wish I could state that there has been any real benefit to them.Is it less painful to my eyes than my giant lamp i have been using off an on for years for Seasonal affective disorder? Yes.. It is much more comfortable, and doesn't take up the amount of space that it does. However I have not been seeing the benefits I got from that device. Whether it's all in my head, I cannot state, as SAD is a disorder. My sleep schedule hasn't wavered much while using it as directed - 30 mins each morning; usually right when I get to my desk between 8-9 on weekdays, and anywhere from 8-10 on Sat/Sun.I have not seen increased energy / vitality, or any improvement to sleep. It is worth noting that having rimless glasses does make things a little strange, as the bottom of my glasses have a blueish tint while its on, but it has become less distracting the more I've used it.I don't know if this is worth it, to be honest. If I'd even seen a fraction of the effects of what I get from my lamp I'd call it a win, but I'm not even seeing that. So I think I'll go back to my giant lamp shining in my face for the next month for 30 mins a day instead of these. Maybe some folks might see a benefit to them, just for me, not much there. I guess it might be beneficial for jet-lag, but I don't travel often, and even then it's rare that I get messed up by time shifts.Pros:- Easy to use- Comfortable to wear, even with glassses- Simple controlsCons:- Saw no measurable benefits after a month- Works with glasses, but be warned, frameless glasses will get a pretty crazy glow along the edges.

Nice little 'chase the blues away' helper!
You might feel a little on the silly side for wearing these odd looking glasses.Ignore that feeling. And don't wear them like glasses, either ^_^.*Wear these resting just above your eyebrows.*It's suggested to use them first thing when you wake up for 15 to 45 minutes- depending on whatever situation you feel you need them. Me personally I have used them in the early morning while I am running around getting things done before the day starts for the rest of the household. I have been using these for a little over a couple of weeks and I have to say they have brightened my overall dour/sour Wintertime mood. I've used it randomly mid afternoon with all of the overcast and cold that comes with Midwest wintertime and I have noticed my own emotional uplifting. I DO believe this is a bit psychosomatic but for the price it helps. Now I have a severe Traumatic Brain Injury and have been dealing with the depression you would normally get during the winter when you're stuck indoors for days at a time. I have been so chipper and smiles these past couple of weeks. Now mind you these are my own experiences. This is not a medical device and you should defiantly speak to your Doctor or other mental health care professional. I think these will help you chase the moody blues away if you just have slight seasonal depression. Even for those days that are sunless due to clouds everywhere. And remember this is not a medical device. If you are having severe depression to please see a mental health professional!Have a beautiful day!

There are better ways to receive 'light therapy'...
I used to work with a person that used a light panel that simulated a sunrise over a few minutes. She used it to help her stave off depression and wake up more gradually. That is what this visor is meant to do as well, but it's not too successful at it. The blue light it shines above your eyes is supposed to simulate a blue sky, but it fails to have that effect. It goes from dim to light in a matter of seconds instead of gradually, and the light it emits is quite harsh. It's not too surprising that the instructions warn of 'headaches' and 'nausea' as possible side effects, because this thing gave me a headache within a few minutes of testing it out.Perhaps it might be of help to someone, but in my personal experience, this is an overtly expensive gimmick product.

Good technology
I have done research on this type of blue light therapy healing and feel that there is enough evidence showing that it can really be useful. I tried this for seven days in a row, as suggested in the paperwork that came with the therapy glasses. I had a hard time because of my glasses and feel that the plastic frames were a hindrance in using the therapy glasses. I have started using them for 45 minutes each session and do not wear my glasses. It is hard for me to go 45 minutes without my glasses because I don't see very well without them. I would suggest meditating during these sessions but you have to keep your eyes open during the whole session. I am going to continue using them as much as I can because I feel like they can be helpful with seasonal depression. I am going to stick with it for at least thirty days before I will expect to see results.
