creativel ideas I've not seen elsewhere
Pleased note this is a later version of the same title and author, and has a blue ball water feature on front. The cover's different but content generally the same. This is a very practical book with pictures at each stage of a project. What is good about the book is firstly I like the mosaics , (not always the case!) and also, with a bit of imagination it is possible to put 2 ideas together - making paving slaps with mosaicked feet, planned to be made by patients for a new dementia garden. What is useful is instructions like 'leave in a resealable polythene bag for a couple of weeks', or 'put chicken wire in to reinforce. Not seen this kind of practical advice elsewhere'. Only book I have read from cover to cover, and there are one or 2 website addresses which are different. Makes a difference that it that the Author trained at Chelsea School of Art. (Her website worth looking at).Of the various books I have researched for this project, perhaps this is the most useful, and ideas such as making a 3 D mosaic (dragonfly- but is could be anything) are exciting and should want you to have a bigger garden!.Recommend and have no complaints about delivery.

Lovely book
Good ideas

Disappointing
Disappointing. Too many of the projects are with the writer's own "found" objects which the reader is very unlikely to be able to find and emulate.

Good clear instructions
Book is colourful and seems to give good instructions, I havenβt started any of the projects as yet but I am hoping that this book will be useful.

Some nice ideas!
Don't usually do reviews but this is the nicest garden mosaics book I've seen. And I've bought a few! The ideas are different from the others (which tend to be a bit naff). Would recommend.
