it is bright blue
had this guitar a few months now, it was great right out of the box, made minor adjustments to the bridge, it gets a lot of play time, if it had a volute it would be perfect.

First i want to say that Amazon was very helpful and responsive to the refund i needed. They even refunded the whole amount upon me dropping it off at UPS which was very appreciated.The product it self showed up damaged (massive splinter in the back of the neck) and looked like the packaging had seen better days. The guitar played well and sounded good when not playing by the massive neck crack. I will also note the flame is not nearly as bright blue or apparent as it appears online. I don't think this is an Amazon issue with the color, but the stock photo looks nicer than the instrument so be warned.
