Works great
Easy install and it saves on chlorine tabs. Load it up and let it go for up to 3 weeks for my pool. Arrived on time. Installed a year ago and it still working fine. If installing using PVC make sure to use plenty of teflon tape so it doesn’t develop a leak.

Great unit but DANGER DANGER DANGER! Don't open without goggles and high quality mask
I've really liked this unit, but when they say dangerous gasses come out you better believe it! I've opened it a couple times just barely to let it gas off with my head away as far as I could and and I have been seriously poisoned both of those times... You should wear glasses and a high grade mask (I use my welding masks that are rubbery and have great filters now). I'm NOT kidding.. I just about had to go to the ER and I was sick for several days. Goggles also, safety glasses won't cut it. It just has very strong levels and spreads like crazy.

Works well
We needed a way to help keep a steady amount of chlorine added to our in ground pool and chose this automatic chlorinator. We have had it installed for about a month now and it seems to work well. It has helped us keep a higher and more steady amount of chlorine in the pool which helps during the hottest weather. It seemed easy enough to install and had easy instructions to follow.

Great product.
I had to order this product after my first one cracked. I'll be the first to say this product holds up extremely well. Easy to install and easy to maintain. The top screws off faily easy, the adjustment knob has easy to read numbers and the instructions that came with it were easy to understand. The one thing I didn't like was that the black seal ring of your not careful when you take the top off to add chlorine tabs will fall out of the top. Just take care to slowly tilt right or left and this shouldn't be a problem.

No Muss, No Fuss
The previous Hayward Chlorinator finally crapped-out on us after only 20 years! I was able to purchase an exact replacement on Amazon for about half the cost that my local pool supply company wanted. I cut-off the broken chlorinator's PVC connections and cut new PVC to the proper length and installed without much effort at all. A pretty simple repair. The only modification was that I used Hayward compression collars on each side of the new chlorinator so that I can just unscrew this one if I need to replace again. I hope this lasts another 20 years!
