No, it is stiffer, but it is flixible enough and doesn't kink. Best hose I ever had and seems extremely durable.

Does this hose lay flat in a 4' circle on the ground or does it need to be on a hose reel?

It's not a "flat" hose in that it isn't "collapsible," but yes, it can be coiled into a circle on the ground. Also, the circle doesn't have to be 4-feet. It could be coiled into a circle as small as 18 to 20-inches, depending on the length of hose. We would recommend using a hose reel for any length 75-feet or more.

can this hose handle hot water and up to what tempperature??
