Very nice, strong taste and pleasant aftertaste

it's ok but disappointed about the metal lid instead of the cork , indeed it didn't taste the same so it wasn't bad but it wasn't good enough for £9.5/bottle

Absolute bargain, this Rioja is smooth. I love it, partly if I'm honest because it isn't a typical Rioja, it more like a Cab Suav blend. It's not overpowering, it's smooth and rich. 4.0 on Vivino (who are known for harsh scoring) is exceptional, 4.4 everywhere else. Just buy it, no matter what style of red wine you like! Regularly under £8 is a bargain.

Having lived in Spain for many years, I found that this was the most popular red wine chosen by local residents. It’s worth paying a little more for this high quality crianza mature special. Try it once for yourself or for a gift for someone special, and you will soon be ordering more.
