USCutter 28 Inch MH Vinyl Cutter Plotter with Stand and VinylMaster Cut and Tools

Ordered This cutter Nov 5th, 2020 from amazon due to the US Cutter web site was not responding. Delivered Nov 9th 2020. Once I unpacked it and assembled the stand and set the cutter on top plugged it in and turned it on, I have had nothing but issues with it!!!! From not showing connected to showing connected but not sending to the cutter, sending to my printer instead of the cutter even though the cutter is selected. Pinch rollers making imprints into the vinyl even though I loosened them. Try cutting 1inch letters and it peels up edges of some of the letters but when I click test cut it will cut the 1/4inch test letters perfect. Pop up window showing not enough power for device. Unable to detect device plugged into USB. Its been issue after issue. Tried uninstalling the software and re-installing it numerous times and it still will have an issue connecting. Once it does show connected, when I click cut and then send to the cutter it just sits there doing nothing. But I can select test on top of the cutter and it prints perfect. Or one of the few times it was showing connected and i sent a test cut from the software it cut perfect right down to the 1/4inch letter/numbers. What's the deal with this thing. My return date was up on Jan 31, 2021, so now what??????? Sofar have been unsuccessful in contacting tech support on phone, sent an email but no reply.

I bought this for our church to make signs, shirts and templates for designs on walls and definitely do not recommend this cutter. It took forever to set up because of how poor the software is which would be ok if the thing actually worked but I have tried cutting all sorts of medium on it with zero success. At first I thought I just needed to learn how to calibrate and use it better but nothing really helps. The blade cuts too deep in some parts of the print job and the won’t even cut through the vinyl in other parts of the same image or text. I’ve honestly not had even one successful print in the 4 months of using it. The ones that have seemed to print successfully have jagged and wavy edges, too low quality to use. I’ve calibrated and test cut so many times on this thing. If someone gave you this cutter for free I wouldn’t recommend it because it just doesn’t work. I don’t trust the good reviews on this thing, there are only of them and it’s supposed to be “amazons top pick” for vinyl cutters...

Absolutely love this cutter. This is my first time ever using one and im very glad I chose this brand. It makes amazing looking decals and is very easy to use. I highly recommend watching the videos that made on how to set up and use the machine and software. They also have lot of other videos for other tips and tricks on using it. Also, the repair forums are very helpful. I had my cutter jump the track (my own fault) at 1am, and instead of waiting for the call lines to open i was able to figure out what was wrong and fix it in under a half hour. Definitely a great product!

The plotter itself is a little low on quality. The feed system takes time to learn and will not feed 100% straight all the time. That being said, it works well and once you figure out the nuances, it can impress. Software is easy enough. I use this machine quite a bit for vehicle identification and us-dot numbering.

This is my third cutter and I will only buy US Cutter. Great machines and too notch user support.
