This is exactly the type of weapon I was looking for. its size, length, weight, and handle is a great combination for a well balanced sword in my opinion. It doesn't feel cheap and is very satisfying to hold. The blade is sharp but not exactly razor sharp use care when removing from package. The nylon sheathe is more durable than i expected. I definitely do not regret this purchase.

Great toy or play-thing. Yes it is "functional", but I wouldn't count on it if I knowing I was going in to "harms-way". Looks cool and is sharp. Probably break if you struck anything hard.

Blade is not sharp and the current belt style sheath in my view would better if changed to a 2 point shoulder strap carry.

It IS "full tang" which means "solid metal down the entire handle" Very sturdy. And the rubber handle is the best grip I've ever had. Seriously, this swords handle has the best grip ever made in human history.
