Excellent product, very good value for the money. Mine was opened already and 3 of the green plugs were missing, so l assume it was a sneaky return and restock item, but that's not the sellers fault and doesn't change the fact these are great. Amazon is terrible about return items that way sometimes. I only needed three of the 6 pairs anyways, so it's fine by me this time. Great item, good quality, fast shipping. Bang for buck exactly as expected.

I purchased these barrel jacks to use with my power adapter. They did not come with a wiring diagram, and I guessed wrong the first time - purely user error. As soon as I changed the wires, the jack worked exactly as expected. They were resilient to heat (while soldering). These barrel jacks were even packaged in a small plastic box to help with organization.

These look nice and good value It has a diameter of 11.34mm a little bigger than some other brands at 10mm. Not a deal breaker just need to drill holes out a little bigger Shaft length is 10mm

The jacks are perfectly consistant in size and they all hold their plugs quite well. My only complaint is that I have to put the nut on the inside of the casing instead of the outside. They have worked far better than all of the other jacks I have tried previously. Which has been several different ones.

Great product but the photo is incorrect. The jack itself has no "+/-" polarity. The polarity of the jack is determined by what kind of adapter you plug into it. Adapters can be center pin negative or center pin positive. The large (left) lug is connected to the center pin. The outer (right) lug is connected the side (sleeve) contact in the jack, and to the middle contact when no jack is plugged in. The middle (bottom) lug is switched. If nothing is plugged into the DC jack it is connected to the outer (right) lug. If DC power is plugged into the jack it turns off. This is useful for things that can operate on battery power or an adapter, such as a guitar pedal. When a DC jack is plugged in, the switched lug turns off so you don't send power to the battery or leave the battery clip powered when there is no battery installed. The 1st photo of the lugs is correctly labeled. The 2nd photo shows that with DC power plugged in the outer lug has power. The 3rd photo shows that with DC power plugged in the switched middle lug is off. You can verify all of this with a multimeter as shown.

Great little set up, I wasn't even sure something like these were readily available, they really make it easy to add a clean power connection to many projects.

Bought for project and worked well it cleaned up the build visually.

These are actually of pretty decent quality and hold up well in projects requiring regular plugging and unplugging, as well as devices where the barrel connector is left plugged in permanently. No complaints, and the price is great.

Sturdy, & good construction. Just be aware when using in a metal case, the ground out on enclosure.

I’ve found these to be the best style and construction of barrel connectors. The metal body of the jack provides a good, solid mechanical anchoring point while also allowing maximum current and thermal mass for higher power applications. The screw terminal plugs are well built and convenient, especially for quick connections to power test circuits. I’ve had issues with poor fit in other brands, but these seem to be manufactured to the correct barrel/pin size and specifications. I would prefer the jacks to come with bare solder joints rather than pigtail leads, but the wire provided is decent enough.

Overall decent quality, works great but not happy about the weak material on the female connector, was trying to tighten one down on a build i was working on and it kind of mangled the alloy, still works perfectly fine and the only reason im docking a star.
