I purchased this camera on 2/7/23 and am completing this review on 3/4/25 so I have had the camera for a little over 2 years. I purchased the camera so that I would know when delivery drivers arrived on my property and the camera has worked very well. I usually receive notifications from the camera within seconds through the app which is much faster than the Spypoint cameras that I have used. I have used security cameras from Blink, Eufy and Simplisafe as well as the Spypoint cameras previously mentioned and prefer this camera over the others. This camera allows me to rotate the camera head instead of having to physically move the camera for a different view. I am able to focus the camera where passing traffic does not set it off, but can use the camera to check to see if the trash cans have been emptied (a location close to the road where traffic would set the camera off) and then move it back to its previous location from the app from anywhere that my phone has service.The solar charger has been awesome and since I put the camera up 2 years ago I have not had to recharge the batteries, unlike the Spypoint.The only issues I have had with the camera was navigating the app when I initially set it up because it was a little different than previous apps I have used and once customer support assisted me in locating the notification bell (which is at the top of the app right in front of me) that was fixed and one time the camera head stopped rotating but I was able to move the head manually and free it up (possibly from some debris or tree sapp as I have it attached to a pine tree and pine sapp has caused issues with other cameras) but as of this morning, 2 years after installation it is working fine.Overall, this has been an excellent camera and I am replacing the Spypoints with additional cameras from this company.

I have another set of cameras that I have had for a couple of years now. Thought I would give these a try. They were priced there times more than the others. I did not know that I needed a data plan to operate them. My others work off my WIFI through my internet provider. I am already having trouble communicating with one of them and the other will not load . Now I have to go up a tree to get down the one that has quit already. Disappointed. Its been weeks now, neither will connect but did originally. I read to take sim card out and reboot but I can' t get it out. I am not sure what to do with these cameras. I have tried to contact support but no one contacts me.

I enjoyed using this camera for it was easy to setup and operate. With its internal antenna it was easy to mount to a tree. It has a clear picture and smooth operation . It worked well for the first 3 months then I started experiencing problems with it keeping charged. I made some adjustments to the location of the camera and solar panel to insure direct sunlight recharged it with AC/ DC power and thought the problem was solved. The solar would charge to 100% and then stop charging. The problem was when the battery started to drain down the solar would not begin to charge it up again , I would physically have to pull out the mini “C” connector and plug it back in for it to begin charging again with the solar. This was a problem for it was a 3 hour drive for me to do this. There was obviously something wrong internally with the battery charging system. Good news was that Campark and the people there were more than willing to help take care of my problem. With their help I was able to send back the camera for replacement .

The media could not be loaded. This trail cam is, by far, the best trail camera I have purchased. The resolution, both day and night, is so clear. It surpasses my home security cameras in clarity and sound monitoring. I decided to use it as a security camera for a property where my other security cameras couldn’t reach. I can access and rotate the camera through my phone (works with either Android or iPhone). It was incredibly easy to set up. I picked a place in the yard, attached it to the fence, set up the app, and was immediately able to view the site. The camera and solar panel just went through the worst storm I’ve ever been in (100 mph winds) and the camera and the panel were undamaged even though 4 sections of fencing were blown down. As the storm intensified, I was able to monitor the property for wind damage through the camera. I love being able to pan and tilt the lens to my preference. Be sure to move the camera with the app, not with your hand as the camera motor should not be moved with your hand. I’ve purchased several trail cams lately and this one is my favorite. It is well-built, has a long enough cord from the camera to the solar panel, and blends in beautifully with its surroundings. The night images are clear and can be seen in black and white (infrared) or in color (with white light setting). I appreciate being able to view the camera on my phone from anywhere. I use AT&T but this camera also works with cellular providers T-Mobile and Verizon. I would highly recommend this camera! It’s got all the bells and whistles you need to use it as a security camera or a wildlife camera.
