There's. no miracle for red veins, but this cream did have a good effect for me
I actually use this product regularly for the red veins near my ankles and feet as well as a few broken veins around my nose. I'm not sure there is a cream available that can make things like this disappear, but I have noticed a visible improvement. I use this regularly on my ankles and feet and my broken veins are much less red and prominent. It is expensive (especially as I'm using it on an area that is bigger than my face) but I wouldn't be without it now.

I used this product on my face a very light cream and blends in well. Early days to see the benefit from this.

Waste of Money !
I have been using this cream morning and evening for weeks now and it hasn't made the slightest difference to my thread veins on my cheeks or the couple around my nose. I had high hopes for this after seeing it advertised in a woman's magazine. I have given it a fair trial but there isn't the slightest improvement. It isn't very effective as a simple moisturiser either and that is disappointing because it is expensive. I don't have many thread veins so it isn't like I am being unrealistic ! The only effective way I can get rid of them is temporary and that is with La Roche Posay Toleriane Teint Fluid Correction Foundation. I just dab and blend in a very small amount of this on to my cheeks and it disguises them and looks natural too. It work's brilliantly as a concealer for reddened skin or as a full cover foundation if you need it. Don't waste your money on this Balm.

Didn't work for me
I have noticeable thread veins on my cheeks so bought this cream. I applied it twice a day as instructed on the tube and after 2 months have noticed no improvement at all. Not impressed.

Very good
Works just as well on dried and broken skin, very good product that after a few uses hands appear softer. A bit expensive but good none the less.

Totally hypoallergenic
I have to confess that although I had heard of couperose I didn't really know what it was - apparently it's similar to rosacea (which I can suffer from unless I am careful to avoid triggers) - couperose seems to be more about the dilated capillaries on the face - as well as persistent skin redness. I have the typical post-menopausal skin as well as eczema, small visible broken veins on my cheeks and red areas so I was keen to try this. The cream is faintly but pleasantly scented and a pale peppermint colour. It smooths on very easily and there is no irritation at all.I am very surprised there is no list of ingredients on the outer box or tube, and no leaflet provided, but apparently the ingredients are concentrates of red vine leaves, roses, ginkgo and calendula, purple algae extract and extracts of Swiss cress and soya proteins, Crystal Mint, Shea butter, panthenol (provitamin B-5), rice germ oil and vitamin E acetate. The cream is non greasy, sinks in quickly and left my skin soft and feeling more hydrated. It's really hard to say whether my skin is less red, or whether the broken veins look better after a week, because there are just so many other factors involved. However it is a cream I would definitely use if price were not an issue as it's always fantastic to find a really hypoallergenic and moisturising product with good ingredients like this one.

A Cosmetic Approach
The most important observation I can make about this product is that it is a cosmetic skin nourishing balm and not in anyway a medicinal dermatological preparation using steroids or similar. No surprise there you might say, but it does put into perspective what the balm can be expected to do. The ingredients offer another clue from Panthenol (a soothing agent) to Shea Butter (moisturizing) which can help to keep your facial skin hydrated and certainly does so without creating additional redness or irritation. The scent is very light, the balm greenish, a touch minty and it absorbs quickly into the skin offering some sheen and a little plumping of the surface tissue. That is about as far as it seems to go with no indication of a reduction in the size or extent of spidery veins or redness. However, if it is to have any impact then clearly it will need an extended period to show any concrete results, so I will update this review as appropriate. The balm comes boxed in a sealed tube, but at only 30 ml for a premium price this is one to approach with no illusions about the potential benefits.
