Really delighted with these. Bought a half size up after reading reviews and when I first tried them on I thought they might be too small but when I run in them they are snug but very comfortable. I run through muddy woods, fields and country lanes. They are waterproof, they grip well and they are bouncy enough so my knees don’t hurt when road running. The perfect winter running shoe.

Great looking trail trainer, they are comfy and lightweight but at the same time sturdy and great support. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is into their jogging/running.

Possibly my 10th pair of Salomon Speedcross shoes ... that says it all really. I use them for cross country races, off-road runs, up to MT marathon distance and fell races. I find them snug and secure though I am used to buying half a size up: 6.5 instead of 6.The quick lacing system means it's hard to lose shoes in mud, and relatively easy to get them off at the end of a run. The sole profile allows good grip on most surfaces and personally I don't find them uncomfortable for road or stony sections. They are quite heavy/robust and if I was a fast runner I would want something lighter.

Comfortable to wear. Needed 1/2 size larger than usual. Is wearing quickly but still grips well.

Snall fitting shoe so buy 1 size up. I generally buy a 6 in asics but got a 7 in these and they are perfect. Laces are long but theres a place on the tongue to tuck them into

A fantastic pair of shoes! Really pleased with them! I bought them to trek around Laos and Cambodia having felt Walking Boots would have been too hot and having especially narrow feet and ankles find Walking Boots really uncomfortable! These were perfect, especially for narrow feet! (I had done some research and found that “Solomon” were recommended for a “narrow fit”). Super comfortable, even when trekking in hot, humid and wet conditions! The only issue was when walking on wet rocks...which happened a lot, due to my location, wasn’t ideal, but I guess that’s not really what they are made for! They’ve survived a summer of trekking and I can’t wait to use them again! A sound investment!

Good price for these from this seller. This is my second pair of Speedcross which I use for walking and running. These are so comfortable for running and walking and really grippy in wet and muddy trail conditions but also on wet leaf-covered pavement. Gore text keeps feet dry but non-GtX also effective in rain and puddles. Will buy another pair when these wear out. Fab trainers

I have had two previous pairs of goretex Speedcross shoes which have been fantastic for walking on the moor in wet conditions. These ones are faulty and are in no way waterproof, let alone water repellent. I may as well have been walking in my trainers.This pair are not at all waterproof, I have just tried in the first really wet conditions of the year, in same conditions as I have previously used my old ones. I have not walked through a stream, I have not allowed water over the goretex membrane. They just leak.You can see my old knackered pair which I wore to death. They are better than this pair.Very disappointed, would return if I could.
