I found a new hobby!
Its such amazing value for money. Took me a couple of hours to build, maybe just over and It was alot of fun. More than I thought it would be tbh. This was my second experience with a 3d wooden model, and I thought i'd try a bit more of a challenge in this combilock and it was definitely that. People always say in reviews about this type of product that parts break too easily but I have to be honest and say parts will only break if you are too heavy handed. I did break a piece (again lol cos i broke one on the first one I did too) but managed to make it work and it does not affect the final result so much that it took away any positivity I have for this product. All I would say is make sure you have a nice clean area to work and take extra care even where you don't think you need to because it doesn't matter how well you think something should be made it is still just little teeny tiny pieces of layered wood so you still need to be careful. If you are 50/50 on whether to buy this or not I really hope you do because it's such a brilliant little item. I found a new hobby!

Nice quality, very enjoyable to make. OK as a stoking filler or side gift.
Gave to my husband for birthday and he loved making it but it was done in under 2 hours. He loves having it but it is a side present. Nice quality though.

Amazing gift
Bought this as a gift for a 15yo and she absolutely loves it. Its tricky but not difficult to assemble and the end result is pretty amazing, Quality wise its good.

Clever, fun - and good quality
Just brilliant- we’ve made a few U Gears kits, all have been great and this one is no exception

Rubbish quality/lazy design/not worth the money
This kit is assembled using (for some reason individually wrapped!?) cocktail sticks which are too-big for the pre-cut holes (so you'll need to sand them down) and far-too delicate so they break easily - and they only supply a couple of spares because "individually wrapped" cocktail sticks are obviously expensive... Also - the sticks are sharp but the instructions lead you to removing the sharp end which makes you wonder if they couldn't have made the kit properly in the first place??? Absolute waste of money - refund requested - no idea how people got any fun out of this half-baked mess...
