Works great. Germinated in about 1 week.
Works great. Planted in 90 degree weather and no issues. I think the key was having an automatic sprinkler that went off every hour for 2 minutes. It kept the ground moist, but no standing water.Had bought this same product a few years ago and had no success. But, I was new to caring for grass and didn't realize how much water is needed.I suspect the majority of negative reviews comes from lack of watering. It says it will cover 8,000 sqft and I suspect that is accurate. I overseeded as I'm new to growing seed and had low confidence, but it looks like a waste now. Grass is coming in really thick. Which seems like overkill for Bermuda as it seems to spread easily on it's own.Not as important as watering, but I suspect another issue is people aren't tilling the ground enough. I don't know this for sure, but suspect the small plants would have trouble with roots if the ground is tight. I tilled it with a pick axe (ton of work) and then raked it smooth. After the ground was lose and smoothed out, then put the seed down and very gently took a leaf rack (yard broom) to help nudge the seed into a slight bit of soil. Only hard part was tilling the earth. A tiller is a really good idea for this if you don't need the exercise.

This product did not work.
I have two types of Buermuda grass in my lawn. I had a three bald spots in my yard. I planted one type of Bermuda seeds in on bald spot and the Scotss Bermudagrass in the other two areas. The other grass seeds grew within a two week period. The Scotts Bermudagrass has not grown after six weeks. All three bald spots were treated the same. I do not recommend the Scotts Bermudagrass.

It grew here in Florida
I didn't count the germination rate. I just wanted to get some new grass under the area where the trailer was at and to patch a few brown spots. It was just a 1lb. bag but it covered what I needed. That was a few weeks ago and it mostly cam up. I'd say the growth rate was ok, but not super fast; just ok. I', not disappointed but also not overly thrilled either; thus barely 4 stars.

Bad batch of grass seed
I wouldn't even give it a 1 star I was covering ab6x6 area of my yard and got the 62.00 bag of seed. I believe I got a bad bag of seed. Ive used this product before I just bought it in the store. But I ordered it off here and it gives you 30 days to return a defective item well I had to wait 4 to 6 weeks for me to get a true judgement on if it was gonna germinate and grow and not even a lil bit has grown at all. I wish I could get a replacement bag or my money back this stuff is expensive. I wont be using this product going forward because of this reason. Unhappy customer.

Really works!!!
After trying a variety of other seeding solutions from Scott’s and competing brands, I can happily say that this one works. Fully satisfied. The seed isn’t cheap, but given that everything else I tried was a failure and complete waste of money, I’d say that this was money well spent. Just ordered a second bag because the first yielded such strong results in reviving my back yard, which had become a mud pit prior to finding Scott’s 3-in-1. Strong recommend.

Seems OK but nothing special
saw some results, not as much as I had hoped for the quantity of seeds provided and that I used.

This stuff is amazing
My yard if you wanted to call it that was basically sand due to a weed we call Florida snow. A lot of that was because I had neglected it for years. Then I bought this Bermuda grass along with The Andersons PGF Balanced 10-10-10 Fertilizer with Micronutrients and 2% Iron (5,000 sq ft), and I couldn't be happier. Where I had sand I now have a really thick front lawn of Bermuda grass. I bought Pensacola Bahai for my backyard using the same fertilizer and it's growing but I'm skeptical about it. Just not the same growth rate so I ordered Scotts Bermuda grass and more fertilizer tonight and I'm sure I'll have a nice thick lawn in the backyard shortly. I used aScotts Whirl Hand-Powered Spreader for Seed, Fertilizer, Salt, Ice Melt, Handheld Spreader Holds up to 1,500 sq. ft. Product to put it down. A lot of people look at it and go " What a joke" it's not we used these when I worked at a golf course because you could see the spread, and also because the push spreaders dumped more seed and fertilizer than it distrusted it. This is costly but well worth it. Just remember for the 1st few weeks you need to water every day until the seed takes root.
